Not surprised at all Sam did this, I remember a while ago he was putting out Hydewars on YT for free and suddenly removed all the videos and infamously put them all behind a paywall. He released a video shitting on people who wanted to watch his stuff for free and encouraged everyone to become "pay pigs" (his actual words) he was demeaning to the audience in the video but I don't remember much and can't find the video anymore, he smoked a cigar and left half way through the video in which the camera was recording the ashes, he said "that's all you get for free" or something like that. Now that I think about it I'm pretty sure even back in the pre-adult swim days he was big on putting things behind a paywall (KSTV, MDE skits, etc.)

The Hydewars paywall was around the time everyone stopped watching his content because it no longer had any exposure and in general it fucking sucked, he no longer did any comedy only bad life advice rants no one gave a shit about.




I like lots of Sam's stuff but I would consider him at least somewhat of a failure for what happened with World Peace (possibly my favorite thing that aired on TV in the 2010s). He could have toned the political sperging down a little bit for season 1 and stayed in his corporate overlord's good graces long enough to secure season 2 (yes, I know they were approved for season 2 before he was blacklisted, but he could have avoided said cancellation easily). He also failed to maintain a good relationship with most of the best talent from the MDE days and failed to secure exposure on youtube or other free platforms because he had to go full jewmode. If it wasn't for Idubbbz,s exposure Sam would be lucky to pull 20k views on his sparse low quality content he puts up for free.

Axyl Rose didn't chimp out after his first Successful album and get blacklisted then have a falling out with the rest of the band then spend the next few years uploading Life advice rants to a few paypigs behind a paywall, he went on to have a long and successful career working with his band.

If he toned down the politisperging, he wouldn't be in this predicament and not be blacklisted from Hollywood. That's the sad fact of the entertainment world: you either literally or figuratively suck dick to make it ahead. Be smart enough so that you only have to do the latter.

MDE had a couple good skits but comedy groups like WKUK were generally better with that type of humor and Trevor (RIP) had a better business savvy and general common sense than Sam. World Peace could have lasted a good 5 seasons had Sam stopped the incessant political sperging and made it general edgy humor skits. He knew what the execs and the faggots at Adult Swim were like so he really should have just went with the flow onstwad of brodcast his beliefs in a place that's blatantly opposed to them, especially considering they are paying him and they aren't expecting him to do anything but be funny. It's a basic survival skill that you learn in high school: fit in to some extent so that you don't stick out. Technically the second video newpill has published after Sam made that video talking about taking down the other clippers, but the first was a joke upload of another dude crying into the camera about demonetization that newpill tricked viewers into thinking was him.

I'd rather say "first video newpill uploaded" than "second video newpill uploaded but the first that was a normal edit and not random tard prank upload", I don't care enough to get into specifics.
