Context: Earlier today (Day 37) Jet told Letty to get personal items like art and journals from the other fish and get them into the basement for rewards. The real target was likely Josie for what's to come.
There is a long elimination challenge ongoing as of this evening but Josie is immune, accordingly she is a slave master/advisor saboteur/advisor throughout.

Early in Day 38, after midnight, Jet and Sam talk with Josie in B1. Jet shows her what Letty gave them and tells her that Letty came up with a ploy to auction off Josie's notes and art and in exchange the crew could get a cut because Frank stole some of Josie's art and made $1500.
Sam says they need that money and Jet should have done this on his own without Letty. Jet agrees and lies to Josie saying that Letty sneaks into her room to steal stuff whenever she's not there and asks what Josie is going to do about this.
Sam interjects: "You gotta do something bro."

Josie says she has ideas, Jet asks what they are and she says she has them written down. She mentions a lightsaber battle, which Jet says is "too fun," then Josie mentions giving Chris a bath but that it's too far. "They can wash him," Sam is quick to say. So long as Chris has "trunks" (probably his usual shorts) on then it's fine.
Jet says Chris' folds need cleaning.

Sam gets "serious" and reminds Josie that she will be facing off against Letty or Vance in the final challenge. This elimination challenge is the one that Letty is "capable of losing" and if Josie wants Letty to lose then to get her out of here.
Jet tells Josie "16 fishbucks" on his way out. This is in regard to how much her art and notes are worth if sold online.

Josie fumbles in her closet for a bit and a TTS comes over, "Josie, lynch Letty, it's time."

Sam tells Jet to do it, and Jet wisely says no, it has to be Sam (Vance will take anything Sam says as gospel).

Sam asks Vance in B1 to call his girlfriend off, that she could risk the show and that she is trying to get him to come home. Sam leaves him alone and it becomes clear Vance is buying it and starts looping and psyching himself out and goes silent for a whole minute.

He goes to the bathroom and then emerges downstairs and, even though the stream is 480p so we can't see very well how he looks different, every single person in the room stares at him and asks him if he is okay. He goes with Jon upstairs and explains that he's not so afraid of her breaking up with him or the show ending as he is of her being harassed on the internet. Production kicks Vance and Jon from the room and Jon eventually leaves, so Vance stumbles without speaking between B4 and B3 for five minutes until enough TTSes come in telling him that it could be a gaslight and that even if it isn't he just has to stick it out.

Now that Jon is gone he's got no bro to talk him down, so it may go worse for him next time.
