So this shit is GUNDAM, in GUNDAM there's two breeds of ROBOTS:

1. GUNDAMS (RLY FUCKIN STRONG)
2. EVERYTHING ELSE (SUX LOL!!!)

The belief behind this playthrough is to beat the game while refusing to use anything classified as "high performance". This means you're going to see a lot of shitty robots and WEIRD STRATS. Also I've never actually played this game so expect terrible things to happen.

Gundam also has these autism psychics known as "newtypes". They have mind powers and shit. We're also not using those, because newtypes are for pussies. In game terms, this means I'm going to be avoiding anyone who has an "awaken" (AWK) stat, although characters built from the character creator start out with a low awakening stat regardless. AWK gives you bonuses to many things, but we're going to be finding other ways to get those benefits.

So, since we're not using Gundams, we're going to be selling our Tornado Gundams that we start out with. In their place we're going to be getting multiple GINNs.

This is the GINN. For a low cost unit, it has okay stats and access to 4000 power Beam/Physical weapons that have 3-5 range. This is important, because certain enemies have beam or physical resist, and the range is important because it allows us to get shit done without jumping too far into enemy lines and getting gangbanged. That last part is very important because these things cannot take a hit. Two hits and you need to return for repairs, oftentimes one if the enemy is a pussy with a Gundam.

These attacks only have a 75% accuracy rate, and these numbers get lower with ingame modifiers. To counteract this, I have multiple things in place, but mostly, >A FUCKING TRUCK OF PEACE

Anything in range of this gets +10% to accuracy. It has awful damage though, with worse HP. In my videos, you'll sit it mostly sitting around giving passive buffs.

Gato was the "big fucker" pilot I chose, who has no newtype stats. He's placed in a Zaku II, which is built by the same faction he came from in his original series. It's alright, but I'm going to be changing that out soon enough.

I've already completed mission 1 (it's uploading), so I'm going to be going over what I'm doing with my second squad, who will have some seriously weird shit going for it.

This is my primary suspect, >A FUCKING BALL, which has a 5-8 range weapon with 4500 damage on it. It can only fire this three times, but with close battleship support, it doesn't matter. It also has 75 accuracy. I'd love to field tanks, but this thing is just better, and I'm going to need every advantage I can get.

So here is my team's lineup. Multiple GINNs on Squad 1, with the >TRUCK OF PEACE giving accuracy bonuses, and Squad 2 having a pair of artillery Balls with the GM playing defense between them and anything trying to fuck with them. Why you lookin' at them, faggot?

That leaves us with Clint, who is going to be dropping literal nukes on people.

Eat shit, Gato. While I'm doing the last things I can with what little money I have left, I've bought Gundarium Armor (+5 defense) and placed it on my shittiest GINN for now. I also gave the truck of peace a disk that increases it's support radius by four tiles, which is so hawt. This leaves me with 1600 autismbux, and the only thing I have left to do is start a new mission. More on that in the next post.

I'll be doing the standard FAQ for the regular players, but anyone who can take down the Big Zam with a Ball is an utter badass who deserves my respect.
 
Some updates, so the Balls Deep strat only works on space missions (for now). I'm sure there's a part that lets me defy this eventually. For now, none exists, so we're using Magella Tanks, which have just as much range and an Oh Shit button. I need to get the Magella guys Fortitude soon though, which is this playthrough's MVP pilot skill, since it buffs your HP by 1000+ (gets higher with levels) no matter what unit you're in.

As for the nuke, same shit different day. This basically leaves my Squad 2 with just tanks everywhere and a single GM.

From what I can tell, Gato and Squad 1 leader have been getting cucked severely out of their EXP. I need to do a few runs to fix that. I've only completed 2-3 missions so far.

My priorities so far are 1. getting those two some exp and 2. buying a lot of equip parts. I have ideas, but I'm going to need exp and money to do it.
 
Another mediocre update. So just like how I can't make people stare at my Balls on Earth, I also can't deploy tanks in space either. This is fucking retarded, but whatever. I finished up Mission 3 and I'll be doing a Gold Haro run of it, annotated on this forum later, but for now here's my setup.

I gave Gato and that muslim bitch some space pirate robots. Gato's Zaku got handed off to Bel-Air, alongside it's +fuckton of def stats. Two of the GINNs got traded out for Zaku I Snipers, which have apebrain tier 9 tile sniping range. Both of them have +10% beam damage and +5 atk parts. Clint got stuck in a Daughtress while I was in the process of removing my tanks, and the only reason that last guy has a Magella Top is that I'm pretty sure it builds into a bigger tank, so we're doing that for now. This can't possibly disappoint me. I'm also hoping the Daughtress builds into something cool, which just means that it won't.

I'll talk about the sheer clusterfuck nature that is this run when I have time. In short, I'm sick of having to sweat bullets missing half of my team in a run that's already cripplemode as fuck.

Okay so videos suck and they're gay so we're doing this shit @GethN7 style now. That said the previously mentioned video is here but fuck it it's gay and yet again over an hour in length so it sucks.

Here's my loadout so far. Pretty much everyone here has Fortitude LV3, meaning everyone here is reaching 10k+ HP. Needless to say this is having me worried for the difficulty of the game down the line.

This cunt with a shitty monocle deploys three mobile suits and they get WTFHAXed by like nine space pirates. This same guy tells Tobia (protag) to fuck off because this totally doesn't concern him (jupiter exchange students). President Douche over here is whining that these are old models and it shouldn't be this hard, but Tobia thinks this is a decoy strat. I'm gonna place hard bets in the "lol idk" square, because the fucking Crossbone is there.

This guy has his own series. Crossbone is entirely about an engineering student fucking everything up. I haven't watched it so I don't know much, but this guy gets up to some seriously exceptional shit.

This is our deployment map. I'm going to be deploying North of whatever this red dildo is. I'll be sending some fast units south with Tobia to clear everything out, leaving last hits for my own guys, of course. The enemy in the far back is the Crossbone Gundam.

Okay. Easy shit. Let's do this. I'm going to be deploying my sniper in the N sector, with the CQC shit hanging out with Tobia. Gato will be in the North sector, Cannonballer (15k hp man) will be in the south sector tanking like a complete Chad.

These guys have shitty range (four is bad) so I'm going to be cheesing the shit out of them with my zooks and snipers, which have 5 range. In short, they're fucked regardless of how busted their stats are.

I let Gamer Girl get the last hit on this guy, which levels her up and gets EXP on her GM Command (one of the aforementioned self-nerfing measures).

Dumbass of the day proceeds to jump Gamer Girl, which gets him counterganked by a three way Support Attack. He's dead, basically.

Gato also gets jumped by a butt pirate, which puts him in alert status after taking a counter last turn, but he's a Master, which means he regens hp silently every turn, on top of him having a health kit and a 5% hp regen part equipped, so frankly I kind of don't give a shit.

He'll be fine though, since I've preemptively sent three of my guys south to bail his dumb ass out. Two of these guys outrange the pirates, and the third one is so tanky that he doesn't give a shit what happens.

The Daughtress Weapon in these fights is pretty much MVP, since it's 6 range cannon lets it support multiple shootouts at once. Bel-Air gets into a shootout with two of the pirates so far, taking out one, and ends up low, so I'm going to be returning him to the ship alongside the GM Command. They'll be back next turn to wreck shit.

I move Clint up to finish off one of the pirates, which gets him a level. I'll be moving up the Daughtress Neo after this to take advantage of his stupid range to finish off the second pirate. His suit gets a level in attack for now, since he's usually out of range of most enemies. He also gets a level as well, because fuck it, why not.

The Neo gets clapbacked with 3k damage, which isn't much when you consider it's 15k HP pool. It'll regen that in a few turns easily. The Weapon moves in with their beam saber, since their EN is low. I'll be returning them to the ship soon as well. Tobia moves his dumb ass out of the way so that hopefully we can survive this.

This leaves us with the northern field. I'm going to move everyone there into the ship to both regen their EN and HP, and because all of them are out of range right now. I'll move the ship up so they can enter range once they exit next turn.

The Zaku II Kai gets shit on during the enemy turn, so I'm returning him to the ship for now. One of the butt pirates walked up on the ship so they're eating machinegun fire. The closest pirate gets shit on pretty hard so I can give Gamer Girl another easy kill.

I'm attacking some of these guys in their range deliberately, and it's because if you attack anyone out of their range, they'll try to defend it almost every single time. If you're confident an attack will land, getting in the enemy's range so they try to counterattack will make them take more damage than if you played safe. In this case, he won't die from this, but it will set him up to get shit on by Gamer Girl again.

I've deployed the Sniper next to him deliberately so I can headvulcan him into red health to ensure nothing fucks up here. This gets her a pilot level, and she goes Super Saiyan... which is nice too, I guess. Time to go crit the Crossbone, I guess.

The guy named Descartes wants to activate Quantum Burst so he can "probe" the aliens. I wish I was making this shit up. He blows up the middle group (pictured above) and they summon eighteen silver dildos in response.

I'll be dropping some dudes next to him to Support Defend his ass out of trouble, because this is actually a pretty risky strat solo. Here is the battle map right now. Descartes (yes that is his name) is the big ass guy far right. He has a skill that lets him cast MAP attacks post movement. Kincaid has a skill that lets all nearby units heal 6k HP, so he's got some people hanging out with him too.

After moving that crossbone shit out of my way, I'm going to keep everyone near the middle so they can be supported by my battleship, and GTFO to the hangar if needed.

The CB ship has a defend option, which is making me trip balls pretty hard right now. It makes these dildos hit for about 1.7k, which is nothing and can be Ship Regenned really easy (they do that). It's a far superior option than evading because that almost never works, and defending cuts damage pretty hard. This is a pretty big deal in a situation where you're almost always getting hit anyways.

So anyways, here's the deal. I don't trust this guy to not fuck up last hitting that Gafran on the way in, so I'm going to be casting Attack Up on him. Let's watch him fuck it up anyways. His attack stats are decently high so I'm placing some degree of faith in this maneuver.

The GINN is out of position during the phase change, but Kincaid aggros onto Gato and only the Genoace tries to kill it. I have it defend which reduces the damage to a mediocre 1.7k.

The GM Kai and Zudah beat down on the Mother Vanguard. The Zudah blows the last of it's EN shutting it down, which puts Kincaid in surrender mode. This gets the Zudah another level, which will be put into defense again, bringing it up to an okay 14.

New turn starts, I pick up Crossbone, and I have Gato enter critmode so he and the GINN can for sure destroy Woolf.

The Heavygun/Murasame is... disturbingly good with it's stats. I need to point out that most of what I use reaches 10k+ HP only BECAUSE my pilots have fortitude, not the other way around. This is an option for the Daughtress Neo.

Pretty alright health and stats, but not the crazy 12k we were seeing earlier. This is expected, because the GINN HM2 has about this much health too.

My JD Dagger L can develop into this. Just like in SDGO, the 105 dagger retains it's beam reducing laminate armor ability here, which makes this unit a bullshit level grunt. I'm going to gun for this so I can get regular 105 Daggers later, but I'll be waiting to see what levels 3 and 4 have to offer.

As a side note, someone wants my JD Dagger for their Genoace. Can't imagine why, though.

Our captured list is two Zudahs, a Tieren, a Gafran, and the Crossbone. I'll be keeping all of them for research reasons.

Also that map weapon has 10 damage on it and blows your entire EN reserve in one shot. What the fuck is the point of this thing.

Second, OI does get awesome levels of crazy.

Finally, EX stages are FUN on playthrougths where you handicap yourself.
