A developer called Big Deez Productions have partnered with Shaquille O'Neal to create a sequel (or reboot, I don't know) to Shaq-Fu. So what do you guys think?

Doesn't Shaq have millions of dollars? Why are they going through Indie Gogo? The retail price is going to be 29.99$? WHAT? Though I do like how they have tried to explain that the money is only to garner interest and it's probably a part of a contract with him. That and 5% of proceeds are going to charity so that's a plus.

Anyway I'm definitely going to get it. It's certainly a game that will have to be seen to be believed.

Looks interesting. Will the controls be broken? Will Shaq turn into a genie or a super-hero? Will Barkley and the chaos dunk be mentioned?

They've stated the only similarity between this project and the Genesis game is the name and how they're both fighting games.

I would prefer a remake of Action 52 and/or ET. :ween: That would be awesome.

According to the Indie Gogo link, apparently Shaq did invest a lot of money and time in the project.
 
I can't believe it's happening. I'm not much of a fighting game person though, still, it's a cult classic. But yes, Action 52 would be great. I wanna play me some Bubblegum Rosey
 
I have mixed feelings

On one, Move the FUCK over, Street Fighter. Shaq Fu is in the house!

On the other? Whats up with his muscles? God Dayyyum!
 
With more than $450,000 being raised, now there's lots of stuff being advertised too. This seems to be a highly ambitious project.

Could be a model unless it's some special gold cartridge version of the original Shaq Fu.
