It's a shame he doesn't get more attention

with SHiFT he really dosnt have any proper lolcow characteristics like dsp where you can tune in at any given moment and immediately see him begging or complaining about sucking ass at every single game he plays.
90% of the time hes not speaking, if i had to guess, each 20 minute video of him raging is burred under 100 hours of actual streaming content ,so its really hard to actually alog him unless you like spongbob asmr or have a psychotic hate boner for him already.
most of his current alogs are just former fans of his that got banned for being parasocial, people like saturated content, kiwitapes and smokey were wise to this, so their plan to use them to onboard a larger community surrounding him back fired, its a common sentiment that people like lowtiershift, are more mentally ill than shift is. we even see this right above us with @GuHoo who now hates him because he wouldn't affirm his feelings or some shit.

I mean, I maybe beg to differ. I've tuned into a few of his streams and every time its funny how you can visibly and audibly hear him get more and more frustrated at spongebob. never gets old. I do agree though he is definitely a different flavor to something like DSP, and not for everyone. But I do love watching him try and hide how mad and pathetic he is.

His begging equivalent is talking about his subathons which he sees as nothing else but opportunities to milk as much money from his viewers as possible to sustain a few thousand more hours of playing spongebob in his mom's basement. And the 90% being dead air is an exaggeration. It's more like it comes in waves where he'll bounce between silence or full blown prolonged freakouts.

I actually used to strathunt this game for fun back in 2020 (I didnt find anything because I had no fucking clue what I was doing), so I also know the run pretty well. The amount of one frames needed to complete his runs in the first 15 minutes is insane. I’d say the number one run killer for early game is a cross between cannon skip and SpongeBobs dream damage boost. Any run that gets past it often fails at SBA or at minimum, sand mountain. It’s honestly been months since I’ve seen him pass that point without 20+ seconds behind his PB.

That’s because you’ve only started watching now. Go back to 2022 and watch a single stream, almost all of it is blistering rage. Similarly to what others said, he’s bipolar with this shit on his current streams. Either he’s dead silent or screaming/having a stroke in his chair. Not to mention his attitude towards himself has gotten insanely disturbing. He often talks about suicide or “one day I won’t be here”, how miserable he is everyday, or how he doesn’t leave the house for weeks. He might seem like a reasonable speedrunner who has his moments on the surface, but 6+ hours into shitty runs, he will let all that true baggage out. Imo, no amount of “chill streams” will ever denounce how he acts.

I severely miss February 2019 SHiFT when I first found him or began fully watching his streams and being more involved with the bfbb community. His meme streams around Christmas were always something to look forward to, it was so chill. It was one of the last times I was truly hyped and on-board for a modern game, (remake) and honestly rehydrated was so worth the wait even if it didn't include EVERY detail I wanted.

The first red flags was the way I got banned in the BFBB discord in 2020, I was a dumb teenager but it was unwarranted and had to do with outside drama or a jannies personal feelings against me, I spent a while trying to figure it out from other jannies and even they didn't know why. Around that time I found his alogger community, but never got involved beyond speaking to ideac whom I thought was rational. Then he started sharing porn and stuff on his server when I was still a minor and most people there were too instead of discussing shift/his community, so I left. The way some of these BFBB fags ostracize people and alienate them is so gay and reminds me of the melee community but less severe. And of course there are troons and such.

for those who dont know, one of the most important glitches in the run involves jumping after taking damage during an unintended grace period

how it works is that after taking any form of damage, spongebob will perform one of three animations at random, during each animation there is a ONE FRAME period where you can jump off thin air again as if you were on the ground, each animation has a different frame in which you can jump and the xbox runs the game at 60fps, meaning you have to correctly identify which animation is playing and get the one sixtieth of a second A button press,
the best exsample of this being performed in a run is the ham robot at 1:40 into the run.

this is also the reason why the downtown cannon is the biggest run killer, because not only do you need to frame jump you also need to ace the timing of the projectile hitting you.
if you fail it will cost you around 10 seconds, which is alot considering most world records are only a few seconds faster in improvements and youll need that time incase you mess up another trick later in the run, a mistake that early into the run is not worth continuing, so most of his runs die to that specific trick,

Somehow I've missed this for a few weeks, but theres a youtube channel with one video called "SHiFT (Damian) CALLS OUT DETRACTORS FOR BEING PDF FILES". It was noticed by LTS and his server began spamming SHiFTs chat with Damian on 5/17, causing him to unintentionally reveal that his first name is indeed Damian. That name is now an instant ban on his twitch.

I'm currently sifting through the VOD to find the exact moment, but that whole stream has some comedic rants.

I don't tout my perspective as the 100% fact given its been years and I deleted my accounts so I don't even have evidence but who are you gonna trust, a dude who was active in SHiFT's community under an old online alias "Dman" since 2019-2023, or an ESL alogger? And now that he has clarified, I think it was 2021, 2022, or 2023 then. The timeframe is irrelevant to what I remember about him and what the SHiFT sphere know about him and the alog servers that just so happen to have this ideac guy involved with it, in these gayops and cowtipping plans against SHiFT.
