Should I buy a box of expensive cigars?

Nicotine is an addiction I have acquired, so should I buy that box of fancy swanky smokes I am looking at? I probably should light one up for when Chris-Chan gets sentenced, after all.

Yeah, don't waste money on a whole box.

I have a place where I can get individual wrapped cigars nearby, and do pick one up occasionally when I know a big event is coming up that night or the next day

Have you smoked cigars before? In my limited experience cigars taste aweful. A friend of mine bought a cigar a while back and no one in the group (cigarette and joint smokers) liked it, we ended trashing it half smoked because no one could bear it anymore.

Second this, Cigars can be pretty intense if you're just a cigarette smoker. (especially if you just smoke light cigarettes or something similarly girly.)

First of all, I hope you aren’t inhaling cigars.

Second of all, if you’re just after nicotine than buy a pack of cigarettes.

And finally, you’ll need a humidor big enough to hold all of them, you can’t just leave them out. (And don’t put them in your goddamn refrigerator)

Before you buy a box, you’ll want to make sure you really like that specific cigar, because your going to have quite a few.

I smoked cigars for years, bought countless boxes whenever I'd go to Germany, Holland, Belgium, or similar. Looking back, I don't think I ever REALLY enjoyed them. It was just something I did because I could, I guess it made me cool in some way, and I liked the image of it, I suppose. I suspect that many cigar smokers in this age are the same, with exceptions perhaps being old, lifelong smokers who grew up in places where that commonality never died out.

There is also nothing worse than stale cigar smoke lingering in a room. It's like fucking death.

Edit: I've known two other habitual cigar smokers in my life. One was a guy in his 60s I used to work with, who'd run through half a dozen per day (and inhale them like cigs.) The other was a multimillionaire engineer, retired, who would also blast through them like they were cigs. The latter had several heart surgeries, and was just fucked.

Don't buy a box, buy like 10 different ones at first to see what you like, check different formats, countries etc., good cigars are not necessarily expensive, I buy great cigars for $7-9 per one, you can literally buy high end cigars that win awards and shit and get top tier reviews in cigarfag magazines for <$10. People often overpay for cuban but you can get nicaraguan of the same or better quality for less

Just a quick follow up, I usually suggest people try anything Drew Estate for their first cigar. The acid brand is very tasty and enjoyable to smoke, but are a little on the sweet side. My personal favorite is the 1400CC.

Above is a listing of the different names of the Acid brand, I suggest the kuba kuba to start.
