Should the United States create a standardized IQ test to determine if a person is able to vote?

Dont give government/political parties any powers that they can potentially abuse and try limiting said powers instead. Slowly that IQ test would get corrupted so the right useful idiots always get through.

US government doesn't want intelligent citizens who know and love their rights, they want the opposite.

ASVAB would be better (easier to administer, more focused on practical skills (to an extent)), but yeah, it would probably be misused.

It's pretty close. The ASVAB is closer if you want practical skills relevant to the US included.

I'm not even pissed off at this shit anymore. I'm just tired of it. Tired of seeing LGBTQ shit everywhere (Which is why my username is what it is), tired of seeing DEI bullshit everywhere. It's so fucking old now. I just want to live in peace but these SJWs won't leave us be.

Sorry for the rant. I've just needed to get this out for awhile now. It's frustrating as hell. Friends and family don't care. While I'm getting fed up with being walked over like I'm a floor mat.

IMO rather then an IQ test there should be a capability test. Have you contributed something to the function of the State? Traditionally this has meant "do you own property?"

Of course in a modern economy this is less relevant. A better metric IMO is "Are you a net taxpayer"? If you receive more in Gibs then you pay in taxes you should not be allowed to vote. Government employees such as public school teachers, police, that bitch at the DMV, postal workers, soldiers and so on should also be barred from voting full stop since their paycheck is quite literally coming from the taxpayers.

You heard me. If a Republic is to have a professional standing Army, then that standing Army should not have the vote. From its Loftiest Generals to the lowliest private and civilian contractor. Not a one is to be allowed the Franchise. They can vote after they leave the service. They are after all, government employees who are not incentivized to look at the good of the country as a whole in their voting. Even worse, their loyalties to elected leadership can be purchased in the form of grants, budgetary discretion and so on.

Personally however, I feel a Republic is better served with a large trained reserve force rather then active military. Voting rights could even be conditional on undergoing reserve military training so that if the national defense is required, you as a citizen are able to fulfill your duties.

No, they shouldn't. There is an assumption such. test would render Niggers ineligible but the truth is it will actually take out more white vote out of circulation. Perhaps half the nbigegrs are low IQ - let's say 100% for the sake of argument. Thats 10 % of the voting population gone if they are 1 in 10 of the voters.

The other 9 out of 10 are white, and only 6 out of those 9 will pass. That eliminates 30% of the vote.

So you lose more white votes.

I would agree with you if it weren't for the fact that voting doesn't do absolutely anything. It just gives your seal of approval to a system that's corrupt to its core.

I dont vote and never have voted, i intend to keep it that way unless some kind of miracle happens. System as it stands will just keep on bloating and getting inefficient untill something bad happens.
