These chains are EXTREMELY hard to break out of, and they will experience the same put-downs (albeit more subtle) as they try to change as they did when they were kindergarteners.

As for men who want to be successful in the club scene, initial appearances are crucial and there's not really time to let somebody "get to know you better". At the same time, shy and inhibited handsome men do often stand around looking nervous and don't get laid while the more extroverted individuals do. But on the other hand a shy man with good looks is more likely to get approached by a woman or receive a good reaction from a woman than a shy guy who looks like a typical Brony. There's a little bit of everything that comes into play. But physical appearance helps a lot and even pickup gurus who make a living selling middle aged balding fat men on the dream of sleeping with Jessica Alba are now being forced to admit that looks can help.

This is probably one of the few things you've said on Kiwi Farms I can agree with.

Initial appearances are important yes, but what we believe is that ultimately they are not the most important thing when you consider how a personality is what defines your interactions with other people and how they see you as a result.
