lets say some redditor from r/50501 somehow shot some high ranking dude in a state house or whatever, what happens then?
Or they somehow pull off getting into the capitol like 1/6.
What do you think Congress/the government does after that?

What? Depends on the situation. Like what would have happened if that person killed Donald Trump that one time? Pretty sure the specific thread for that has hundreds of what-ifs in regards to it.

But to answer, first thing I'd assume would be to increase security from then on. Also, what do you mean by "worst case scenario"? In regards to who? I am not sure if the person in your hypothetical being transgender will heavily impact the countermeasures taken afterwards.

Oh I see, I think recently one Redditor planned to do something like that, I'm not sure about the aftermath (she didn't do anything, just talk on Reddit I think).

If it were to be successful, probably raise security and countermeasures and treat such threats like terrorism (as it technically is).

yea I figured. r/50501's been going crazy with the protests, I personally think it's going to get violent sooner than later tbh.
Do I WANT that to happen, no, but would it be cool to see them fight? sure, 2020 riot coverage was awesome to watch.

If the victim is a Democrat, the media will attack Republican rhetoric radicalizing the shooter. If the victim is a Republican, same thing.

What won't happen is the media finding and releasing pictures of the shooter in younger, happier days,. That would reveal his trans status (I'm making assumptions here), and that would disrupt the narrative.
