I'd agree 3DO is the more appropriate comparison. How many original exclusives did the PS5 get this generation?
- Astro Bot
- Ghost of Yotei
- Saros
- Wolverine
- God of War Laufey
That number could conceivably get bigger now they're scrapping PC ports, but it's just as likely to get smaller as it's taking longer and longer to get games out the door. Naughty Dog haven't put out a single new game this generation and I still give even odds Bald Asian Lesbian Simulator ends up skipping straight to PS6.
Ignoring the inexcusable shit like the $800 monitor stand and $50 chargers, Apple's hardware is at least very good and the UX is intuitive and responsive.
The only thing the PS6 could do to justify its existence is be a hybrid console, but that would mean further gimping the performance of an already gimped PC. Buying a PS6 will be like buying a gen 1 iPhone: it doesn't really do anything useful, you just want the status of owning it.
