Yup, exactly my thoughts. What they didn't consider is that, during a wartime economy, maybe I don't want to spend $570 on a game and a whole new console just to play something I might not like, considering how scammed I felt after buying Final Fantasy XIII.The reason is that the ps5 isnt selling well at all and FF16 didnt sold as predicted. I assume they were expecting FF7R numbers, but that was nlt only a remake of one of their most popular titles ever, but also on the ps4, a console with a much much bigger user base
FF16 isn't turn based, and it looks to just have that strange half-automatic combat with more particle effects and static animations that makes combat feel like I'm just mashing buttons and hoping my character does something. It ain't no Secret of Mana, where you press a button to whack an enemy, and you get an impactful blow with a satisfying sound effect.
