What I wonder, is given the "GuNs BaD" dialog, why didn't they make this game based on a location where guns are actually banned, i.e. Canada?
Because Spider-Man has always lived in NYC. Plus if they didn't have guns, how would they write whiny dialogue about it?

Dude, you're just fucking wrong there. He probably has the best set after Batman and the fact the original creative team churned them out practically one after another with no (well, one,) duds is nothing short of amazing.
He has a huge number of villains, with a few standout ones being really good, and the rest being too weird or silly to be remembered.

Like who? Aside from Venom and maybe Carnage there's not a lot of great villains from Spider-Man (which is a comics-wide issue not isolated to Spidey). I'll say, they're good by comics standards at least.

Yeah, as opposed to the, like, five fucking groups the X-Men have rotated fighting with for forever. Or, I dunno, Green Lantern's villains who all just mirror his powerset or are woefully outmatched?

I was going off the comics. Also, Carnage is ass. Hope you like Venom 2, even venomier. I like bankrobbing wackos, thats what you want a street level hero to fight.

Green Goblin, Hobgoblin, Doc Ock, Lizard, Venom, Carnage, Sandman, Jackal, Kingpin, Electro, Kraven, to name a few. Of course then you have obscure ones like Stiltman and Will O' The Wisp (who I think would have been more popular if he didn't have a goofy name).

Eh I only ever liked Venom and Carnage, but that’s because they look cool.

Honestly, so far from what I've played, Peter is so fucking obnoxious that I legitimately prefer being Miles. That's probably all you need to know about how badly they fucked up the writing.
I don't see it. Not that Peter's sections aren't obnoxious (I hate how most modern interpretations of Peter have basically zero spine and are so over-polite to the point it's hard to imagine them going through the origin story), but even just watching the cutscenes on youtube Miles' sections feel so fucking bland and empty. A barely developed 'Miles wants vengeance against his father's killer I guess' arc interrupted with shit like "Oh noes, Black Spider-Man; the black museum might get shut down! Did you know who this drum used to belong to?" that somehow concludes with Peter telling him "Why does the city need me when it has you? You're amazing, Miles."

Every piece of media trying to sell me on Miles only succeeds in making me dread this character getting screentime.

>everyone at niggerman's school for gifted retards is a wog, a chink, a pajeet, a homo, or some combination of those
>you are constantly reminded of niggerman's deaf gf's deafness ALL THE TIME
>niggerman is perfect, even his flaws like being too dedicated and too loving are actually good things

friendship ended with spidercuck, JJJ IS MY NEW BEST FRIEND. DEATH TO THE MASKED MENACE.

I'm not shocked at what's being posted here. I remember the reward for one mission in the Miles Morales game was a giant graffiti mural to BLM (and maybe a new suit, I might be forgetting). Also, it's not much, but apparently Kraven just kills half the Sinister Six off-screen with only some optional recordings letting you know it.

Is it just me or does Harry comes off as extremely gay as fuck in this game? I legit thought he was going to their high school with Peter to suck him off.

Btw, what was the trope of the inoffensive black character? Because that fit miles perfectly.

And I can't see Venom coming back because they literally kill the symbiote off in the end.

I wonder: is it Insomniac, Marvel or Sony mandating how Spider-Man 2 should be as a consumer product?

Ever since Sunset Overdrive, Insomniac's writing staff must've got collective lead poisoning because it became fucking unbearable. SO's writing makes Borderlands 2's look like Blood Meridian; it is Reddit: The Video Game. Not to mention the California Brainrot finally took hold on the company. From then on, the terrible writing was consistently shit and the California Brainrot agenda became more and more obvious. The Rivet character design fiasco they had with Sam Maggs and Co. behind the scenes comes to mind, and that was just over the character's design. It seemed to have reach its apex with Spider-Man 2.

What I'm getting at is, although I bet they didn't help, this isn't Sony's or Marvel's influence. Insomniac has been like this for quite a while now, they don't need outside motivation to do this shit. With how faggotty Spider-Man 1 was, of course they would up the ante. That's probably why they were chosen to handle Marvel properties, tbh.

Good couple of hours of fun and very limited pozz playing as Peter, now ruined by being force switched to niggerman who is getting ready to meet his mum's new bull.

It's funny that they manage to somewhat rehabilitate miles in the public eye with the first spiderverse movie, and then immediately try their hardest to undo that by forcing him ten times worse than they were doing before.
