They did. 360 actually had 4 Halo games (2 of which were "good") and 4 Gears games. They were shitting them out like me after eating apples. But there were also tons of year+long temp exclusives like Oblivion and Mass Effect, Lost Planet, Chromehounds, tons of XBLA titles, Blue Dragon, Viva Pinata.... then Kinnect came along and ruined everything.

The Skyrim DLCs were all 360 exclusive until about 2013. Not sure if that was due to an exclusivity deal or because Bethesda knew they'd run like ass on the PS3.

I actually remember that one - Bethesda literally couldn’t get the Skyrim DLC’s to work on the PS3, if memory and some quick Google Fu serves it was an issue with how the PS3’s memory worked. It literally took them a year to finally port them - offered them at half off for the first month of them being live as a kinda Make Good.

I’m not sure if that says more about the talent level at Bethesda, or just how jank the PS3 was. Normally I’d dunk on Bethesda, but considering the Make Good I’m actually 50/50 on that one…

I've played the Fallout 3 DLCs on PS3. The main quest in the one that allows you to continue the game after the ending crashes at some point.

Playing Split Fiction at the moment. I don't know why Hazelight moved away from the cartoon style graphics of It Takes Two - I guess they thought the new game should seem more serious, but the graphics look like something from the Xbox 360 era.

Microsoft had a deal with Bethesda for timed exclusivity and the almost year long delay was really only for Dawnguard. Dragonborn came out on the PS3 like two months after releasing on the 360. It wouldn't surprise me if Bethesda knew about PS hardware issues beforehand and approached Microsoft first holding their cards close, turning a shitty situation into a win.
 
Remember when Sony fans were laughing at Steam players for refusing to make a PSN account to play games on Steam, even going as far as saying "it's just a sign in, what does it matter?".

And let me guess, they didn't whine when The Crew Motorfest requires you to get a Ubisoft Account to play the game on PS5 (I think, since it's required if you buy the game on Steam), the same needing an EA Account to play NFS Unbound, and even getting a Nacon account to play the racing game turd that is Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown?

Or a Blizzard account to play Diablo.

But it's different this time because it doesn't happen on consoles, and if it does it doesn't matter, and if it did, then it's a good thing because reasons, except this time, this time it's bad, because reasons.

They had a deal where they would get 1 month exclusivity on Skyrim DLC, I remember very well having to wait a month for Dawnguard to release on Steam.

They've actually managed to invent a few more in the interim, like how the PS5 needs to be connected to the internet to activate the disk drive. Granted, it's a one-time thing, but it's still amazing they managed to include such a petty "feature" to antagonize customers.
 
This bitch is in every damn woke game now, there in no way this is organic. The industry is pushing her ugly mug to demoralize gamers. Then they wonder why young men are diving head first into chink gatcha crap.
