How? God of War is based on mythology anyway. Moreover, the creative liberties afforded with mythology allow for infinite possibilities in storytelling.

Personally, I'm surprised that Thor was actually a fat god.

Plausible deniability exists, but if you can sincerely say that you actually believe they're not doing it because they're woke then I think you're gullible.

The first God of War was a masterpiece. I'm certain that the sequel will be just as good.

Perhaps, but let's see what happens.

Earth Defense Force 6 sold significantly less retail copies on PS4 compared to the previous game (111k on first week), and even the PS5 version doesn't give much of a boost.
SD Gundam Battle Alliance had a Switch version which outsold both the PS4+PS5 SKUs combined.
Soul Hackers 2 only managed to beat the WiiU release of Tokyo Mirage Sessions#FE in sales among (not-Persona) SMT spinoffs.

I really miss the Sony that gave us Jak, Sly, Twisted Metal and the OG God of War, what happened?

I replayed the original Sly Cooper in 2020 and the whole tone of the game is wonderfully refreshing, the characters are just instantly likable.

Not to mention hidden gems like War of The Monsters.

PS3 was a downgrade, only thing I really cared about was Uncharted, God of War 3 and Last of Us 1, PS4 actually brought some of the magic back imo, but PS5 is killing it, it just seems like the whole thing is evaporating, Sony's losing it's market, I'll be surprised if the PS5 isn't the end of the road and we get an eventual PS6.

Mike Matei, famous for The Angry Video Game Nerd, finally got his PS5, and whaddaya know, it's a lemon. He talked about how he tried everything, including going through each and every option in the recovery menu. He ended up calling up PlayStation and he has to send his PS5 back to Sony.

That's going straight back to Sony.

Which leads me to wonder: What even is the RMA situation like with a console that's so hard to get? If they don't have stock to sell at retail, how do they have stock to replace busted units? I know they allocate some straight out of manufacturing, of course, but would, like, he end up more likely to get a refurbished PS5 made from another one where some dumbass shoved a piece of cheese into the disc drive?

I swear, the PS5 is just cursed at this point

My wife is trying to get me to convert to the PS5 because she's taken over the PC and the kids have taken over the Switch and Xbox . Like, I can't. I don't know what the fuck the PS5 is but I don't want it. I barely got a PS4 and that's only because I wanted to play Gundam Breaker and Metal Max. I regret it 4 years later lmao. Anyway.

There's something about not being able to take my save games off my PS5 and store them locally that rubs me the wrong fucking way.

I don't want the fucking cloud. I have to pay Sony every fucking year for the cloud. I want my save games. When I want them, how I want them, where I want them because it is my progress.

Well, what are you looking to play? Assuming you don’t want to buy a duplicate console, you could get a cheap gaming PC and “console-ize” it with Steam OS. You would even still be able to install emulators for older games. Or if you don’t care at all about modern games, you could install something like Batocera and make it a dedicated emulator machine; just keep in mind you’ll have to put in some elbow grease to get everything just right.
