I think it's emblematic of how the gaming market is going that instead of taking a risk and bringing something back or making something new, these titans of the gaming world instead bicker and fight over one stale blockbuster franchise. It seems like it's all getting consolidated into massive AAA blockbusters, I think the 8th gen was a generation of stagnation, and this generation will be the generation of failure, where games like Forspoken crash and burn. Maybe that's for the best.

I'll say this, they still make great karaoke machines as well, and the original Walkman models were great.

As far as its movie division (i.e. Columbia, Tristar, Screen Gems, Pictures Classic, Pictures Animation, etc.) goes, it's shit but a bit more sane than either Paramount, Warner or Disney, which even then is kind of a low bar.

This caused me to suspect something else as well. I think Uncharted 4's multiplayer actually does something to players (under the game's hood) when their winning rate gets too high and nerfes their stats so much that the match is almost a guaranteed loss. Unless of course you spend money and gamble on some loot chests with boosters.

Anyway, I hate both Sony and Naughty Dog to it's core. I will never forget what crap this pathetic soy-latte manbun crybaby pulled to his own fanbase. And how he tried but failed to apologize for it in his video back then:

Sony's technology is perfectly fine, it's mostly just PlayStation I have a problem with. Their movies are meh, but I'll give them some appreciation for that last Spider-Man movie, bringing back (respectfully) the old versions of the character that people missed.

Well yea, they're great with technology for sure. Sony Pictures is, honestly, a bit as sane as the likes of Universal or Lionsgate in terms being a big movie studio, but again this isn't say much.

Amy Henning is like Jade Raymond, a female who made a game or game series a decade or more ago and people just can't fucking shut up about it. How long does it take for her credit to run out at this point, how many failed projects does it take?
