I don't get why literally every UI is this:

Refinement culture

aka globalist homogenization, the other globohomo

Same reason everything else converges on the same result:

Playstation 5: $499
Playstation VR 2: $549
Playstation Portal: $199
Dual Sense Edge Wireless Controller: $199
Pulse 3D Wireless Headset: $99
Playstation Plus: $60 to $160 (Annual)

I don't ever want to hear a Sonyfag arguing that PC gaming is too expensive by comparison.

It’s not just the PS3/PSP, every console UI used to have some degree of personality and, dare I say, soul. But starting with the PS4/Xbox One, everyone decided that UIs had to be “sit down, shut up, and pick your game”.
IIRC, PS3 let you make folders, kinda like Vita does. Scrolling through a line of games and apps from latest played isn't even convenient if that's their intent (unless you only play a handful of games).

don't forget the price of the games compared to PC (and I'm not counting piracy in that).

Niggers will still bring up the "plug and play" aspect now, and if not that, complain that clicking parts into sockets to build a PC is too hard.

There are a few that are starting to just admit they're nigger cattle and "Playstation Ambassadors" now, though.

the Steam Deck is just as plug and play as setting up a new PS5 tho. And prebuilt systems have existed for years

Oh, I know. The plug and play complaint has been fucking retarded for almost a decade now I feel like. Ever since you've needed to create accounts on various platforms to access stuff on consoles and needed day one patches and everything else.

Pretty much. There can be a minor bit of fiddling to do sometimes, but any retard can get by, especially if they just stick to Steam's Verified games selection.

Sony is really trying hard to be the "Apple" of gaming. Thank God, most gamers can see thru their bullshit.

to be fair most of that list is gimmicks or other shit most people don't want, need or have cheaper alternatives (like the headset).
If they're retarded enough to want a PS5 then they're probably retarded enough go all-in on Soyny branded shit.

nah, lot if not most console players are normies, not brand whores. they buy a console to plop below their tv and play some vidya - if they don't use it as a netfix machine only while it collects dust. they simply have no need for all the other stuff like a gamepad for 200 bucks. or have already dumped their money in fifa ultimate team or something.

I don't see what would compel them to upgrade then. You'd think casuals would be just fine playing that kinda stuff and Netflix on PS4. It seems like you'd need to be a brand whore or a graphics whore because there's literally no other reason I see, unless you need to play the few PS5 exclusives.

it's one of the reasons the ps5 numbers are what they are. normies and businesses are similar in the "if it works why spend money on it?". they see a console like a coffee machine they buy to do a job, and all is good as long as it does it's job.
for the same reason they buy one console only, because they have no need for 2 coffee machines either. they only spend money again when it breaks (instead of repairing it, if they even can).

remember they are called console plebs for a reason, they simply don't care about a game only having cinematic 24 fps and lower at 900p. heck some of them you could show the difference and they probably wouldn't even see it. same for their surface knowledge of videogames, doubt a lot of them even know (or care) that some games on playstation are exclusive. that only (maybe) becomes an issue once they want to play a game people are talking about, like starfield. but then they look at the pricetag and say "nah", given they have that money in the current economy in the first place (ironically the more stingy ones are middle-class and up, probably because they're more responsible with money and understand value).
