Don't forget to add the first two X-Men movies, The Crow, Sin City, Watchmen and both 1995 Judge Dredd and 2012 Dredd.Batman 89, Batman Forever, Blade, Spiderman 1&2, might even throw in Hellboy 2004

The glut of superhero overload in the theaters for the last 10 years diminished my enthusiasm to go to theaters as well. Actually, it incentivized me to get into older genres of cinemas--which is how I got deep, deep into Spaghetti Westerns. They were easy to gravitate towards, because in a lot of ways, they're the polar opposite of modern capeshit crap: they're low-budget, completely devoid of special effects or superpowers or McGuffins or modern-day quipping, they're all standalone and utterly devoid of shared universe crap, and there's no multiverse shit to bail out the characters: only the speed of a character's gun or their wits...and depending on how bleak the film is, sometimes even that wouldn't save them.Good post, but speaking personally, superheroes were never for me. Not even when I was a kid.
Sam Raimi's 2002 Spider-man movie came along, and I couldn't care less. I heard all about it and outwardly said "Nope, that's not for me", and inwardly said "That looks stupid and gay". Then over time, I sat through a handful of superhero movies with friends and dates. I was not entertained by any of them, but pretended to be because that's just what you have to do in social situations. Over time, there came more and more superhero movies, and therefore, less reasons for me to go to a theater. I probably only saw less than 20 movies in a theater in the 2000s altogether, and less than 10 in the 2010s. I have yet to visit a theater in the 2020s, and the decade will be halfway over at the end of the year.
This is easily the worst generation of console gaming since the second half of the second generation. It's even worse than the eighth generation
That's understandable. Tbh, I think it's less of a problem of containing MCU-style stuff, and more that the game includes a lot of latter day comic shits like Miles Morales and Kamala Khan, that either didn't exist or were two new to be included in the last game back in 2009. Now, a lot of the shrieking assholes from the modern comics are in the roster. Of course, my solution is to ditch those abortion scraps and line my party with X-Men and FF characters. Yes, you have to pay for them, but that's been a frustrating aspect of the series since the first one making you shill cash to play as Magneto.I still refuse to play ultimate alliance 3 because it has nothing to do with the first two games at all. I remember loving ultimate alliance 1 and 2 as a kid, and when the 3rd game finally came out after a decade of waiting, it was MCU shit. I’ve never been so disappointed in my life.
The Nintendo 3DS was really strong at the time, though. Nothing's very strong now.You al forget how bad the first half of last gen was when the Wii U was failing and all of gaming, even PC, was being held back by Microsoft having cheaped out on the default version of the XBO.
WORST. PLAYSTATION. CONSOLE. EVER.Hope you've got a backlog this year or you're SOL!
The Sega Dreamcast lasted a year and a half and yet will have a bigger impact than the PlayStation 5.PS5 Entering ‘The Latter Stage of Its Life Cycle’, Sony Says
I feel like this console generation has barely begun, but I guess its been years. We will never see a boom of games like we did in the 2000s again will we?
Oh man, a movie about Vigilante (Greg Sanders) would be crazy cool... once all this bullshit with Hollywood passes over. I wonder if Nathan Fillion could still fit the role like he did in the cartoon.Plus cowboys are just inherently-cooler than faggots in capes. In films and in comics.
God of War, Ratchet and Clank, SOCOM, Resistance, Killzone, Twisted Metal. They have tons of franchises and games that were Playstation exclusive that were heavily aimed at Western gamers that sold well and in some cases moved hardware off shelves. SONY also heavily focused on pushing CD, DVD, and Bluray sales with each successive console. You would see Playstation logos all over retail stores in the DVD movie section telling you that the PS2 was the "highest selling DVD player....and it plays games as well".The golden age of PlayStation was from the PS1 up to the Vita era , that was when Sony was focused primarily on the Japanese market and made Japanese centric games.

You forgot locking online multiplayer behind a paywall scam that used to be free and they keep jacking the price up without offering any incentive for it.The golden age of PlayStation was from the PS1 up to the Vita era , that was when Sony was focused primarily on the Japanese market and made Japanese centric games. Since the PS4 era ( and the relocation of PlayStations HQ to California ) PlayStation has just not been the same , shutting down Japan studios, focusing on live service games, having generic third person cinematic games like uncharted and last of us be the face of they're first party exclusive line up etc, it will never be the same company ever again and you know it, best to just move on.
Yep, a cursory glance shows significant releases like Visions of Mana, Infinity Nikki, Prince of Persia, Yakuza, Sand Land, System Shock, etc are still releasing. I wouldn't be surprised if the next Sonic even released on PS4 (not just the recent 2D one and the upcoming Generations remaster, I mean the next mainline 3D Sonic). But PS4 games are still coming out! Big ones! Not just sports games and oddball Japanese titles.
Wii U had more worthwhile exclusives than PS5. The Wii U. Having a handful of interesting timed exclusives is the only thing keeping it a 2.5/10 instead of a literal 1/10.You al forget how bad the first half of last gen was when the Wii U was failing and all of gaming, even PC, was being held back by Microsoft having cheaped out on the default version of the XBO.
Dreamcast was at the very least interesting. PS5 is just such a boring nothing of a console. The Sega Dreamcast lasted a year and a half and yet will have a bigger impact than the PlayStation 5.
Your forgiveness is cheap. All will be forgiven if I get me some gears and halo on PlayStation.
This is true, but I don't play PC and I've been enjoying all the next next gen exclusives on it (as in not on PS4)Your forgiveness is cheap.
The Chanel Santini version was better than the israeli one.
