The more I think about it, the worse it gets, They are selling a mid-gen refresh for the price of a new console generation. and what you are getting is;

- 45% better performance (allegedly).
- More reflections.
- A better upscaler.

Sony: "Money, pleeeeaase!!!"

I'm certain there was at least one promotional video made where they acted like Concord looked so much better on the PS5 Pro. If that got leaked, it would be hysterical.

Don't forget 8k. Though the VRR doesn't work on that resolution.
 
If I want to spend several hundred dollars to add a disproportionately strong GPU to a system with a weak, aging CPU that yearns for death...I can just upgrade my PC, and it'll play more games than this. Sony's making it look really appealing.

Us version doesn’t include taxes, Europe version does. Converted it’s about 755€ .
Not going to buy it though, I don’t need an Al upscaler for games that are essential movies. I only regret buying my ps5 7 months after release, I still had hope. I was blind to the truth…
Time to look for a pc in equal pricing.

Does it? I only see that on the yen price, not the euro version.

Weak CPU and only 2gb of extra shared RAM.
 
Every YouTube comment calling out how much of robbery the price is is fucking gold lmao.

Whatever Sony have been drinking over the past few months to reach that price I can tell you right now, I want fucking none of it.
