I tried looking this up but I can't find anything, I'm pretty sure Japanese PS+ gets like 95% of the same games we do.

My bad. I remember seeing some reports a couple of years ago that the game was releasing on Asian territories. Turns out they later removed the promotional banners and we will end up getting the game 2 years later.

Don't buy these games, it's as simple as that. They're not made for you, they're made for imaginary group of people that don't exit, and they never make back their money anymore due to how much is spend on these trainwrecks. Let them go bankrupt.
Look up older games and play these titles instead, there is thousands of them and many are lesser known to most people.
A good Marvel game of yesteryear off the top of my head would be something like Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 and 2(with 3 being made recently for the Switch), instead of playing nu-Spiderman there is obviously the one for 6th gen consoles.

That's alright, don't particularly care for marvel or for insomniac's games so at least I'm not contributing to the problem. I just couldn't believe how horrifying they made JG's face on purpose. This is definitely a corpo mandate, has nothing to do with aesthetic preference, which saddens me when I see folks go after the artists being told to produce them.

It's not just the models, the story is a real hackjob. The history of Wolverine has some basics that don't really change across his media iterations:

He's born in Alberta in the 1800s
He kills his actual father defending the man that raised him
He leaves his family home and uses the alias Logan working or living in the wilds
He joins the military
He works special forces with Creed, Maverick and a few others
He's kidnapped, experimented on, and given an unbreakable skeleton and claws
He works for the Canadian government
He leaves Dept H to join the second run of XMen and rescue the first team

The character was a big question mark until his early history was filled in with Origins, and I could swear I've seen 80s/early 90s depictions of his with more bionic-looking forearm housings under the flesh that've since been retconned away. The story for the new game seems to change a lot of his history, moreso than the AoA or Ultimate version did.

Its still very upsetting how hard it is to get Puppeteer working on RPCS3 if you're not running a RTX 40 series card. Its an unjustly overlooked game, and deserves a new wave of examination on emulation. Absolutely Kirbycore in terms of childlike wonder, approachability and general appeal.

It hits harder when you realize that most of the animations were handmade by the small team that worked on it, definitely a work of passion. It deserves another chance, or at least a port with minor optimization fixes. But current year Sony wouldn't do that because it had no niggers, girlboss power nor troons.

That's not the overall number of games, that's just the exclusives that remain only playable on each console.

Using the same source it lists that the PS1 has 4016 games in total. ( Link ) and the Playstation 2 has 4376 ( Link ).

People only recently woke up and stopped eating the goy slop enough to make these companies nervous. We probably have another couple of years of this shit as the stuff that's already been started makes its way down the pipeline.

Pretty much this. Most of my game purchases are older games from GOG that Russians have modded to work on modern systems. GOG sales are pretty decent too with frequent OST packs for a few dollars more with the base game.

Ultimate Alliance is pretty mid if I'm honest. Even if you happen to like that kind of zero-thought ARPG, you're better off playing X Men Legends 1&2. The PSP version can probably run on your phone.

If I were to suggest an alternative to Soynyman 2, it'd probably have to be Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. Perfect game.

There is a repack that works on modern windows floating around that works pretty much perfectly, and if you play that the developers will get exactly as much money as if you buy it from any platform.

Its wild that Raven Software of all people made that game. The closest game to it they ever made was Heretic 2, and even that was a world away in terms of style and gameplay.

The real Spider-Man 2 with Tobey Maguire is still better than every Spider-Man game since 2012.

Ultimate Alliance is absolutely fantastic, but only if you're actually an old school Marvel comics fan. There's also a really great dedicated modding community for it, Marvel Mods, who have come up with plenty of neat mods too, like most major DC characters. I think they might have figured out how to make custom levels recently too.
