That chart paints a pretty dire picture for revenue, being propped up by covid in the first two years (also, likely, PS4 ecosystem sales) and the way below the PS4 numbers in years 3 and 4, which are normally supposed to be some of a console's best.

Unless it's rebranded as "Wiafus" and every character looks like it came out of Genshin Impact, there is no way in hell that Concord or "Concordlike" has any hope in hell and even if they do a full blatant animufication, from my understanding the game was tepid as fuck, so I don't expect it to get more than a few weeks of attention in that case anyway. For the record I think this rumor is bullshit but if it's real, I think they'd be banking on the tidal wave of jewtubers/streamfags mocking the game and producing the most low effort trash content imaginable. It's a bold strategy but it's not like Sony has anything to lose here.

When the game came out and was still trying to be taken seriously, the NPC content goblin crowd was clearly mandated by ZOG to not mock the game, relegating the dunkfest to safe edgy retards like Asmongold. For everyone else in that sphere, the game died before they even realized it was a goldmine, but they damn sure joined in the gravedance in one way or another, making sure to take extra care in not shitting on appearances, pronouns, and trannies (see: Paul Tassi). A click is a click. The one thing coming out of Concord's colossal failure that I don't like was that milquetoast dumbasses like that Sunburst Studios guy now have jewtube careers.

With how expensive and unpopular the pro is looking to be, Sony will miss that target.

Bro, where's Spider-Man 2? The game released in October 2023, so a bunch of its sales should have continued over into that 2024 chart considering Hogwarts Legacy is there. It got outsold by fucking Suicide Squad in 2024. They claimed it sold 10 million units back in February and then claimed it was now 11 million in April. Did that all just stop?

But i kind of want them to do as you said. For one, the absolute ass blasted posts from the usual suspects will be fucking golden if they added hot Mercy/widowmaker clones and trimmed the fat off the rest of the cast. It would be an acknowledgement that the modern audience does not exist.

Not only can GTA6 NOT save hardware decline, it will actively hurt GTA6's sales. R* must be fucking fuming that they trusted MS and Sony to not release on previous gen and, as games get downgraded to work on Switch, I bet pounds to pennies that GTA6 is downgraded to run on PS4.
