Name a better place to get mods for Bethesda games.
That's the issue.
Nexus basically has a monopoly on mod hosting, with the only other one being ModDB, and that's a stretch. My main issue with Nexus isn't actually the censorship; it's their forcing of accounts. No, I don't want to give my email away because YOU want more users that don't mean anything because said users don't actually interact with the platform outside of downloading, asshole.

I miss Fileplanet. Was lucky enough to use it just a few years before Gamespy was shut down. Spent so many hours stubbornly installing Morrowind mods manually. Didn't need an account on Planetelderscrolls. Good times.

Can you explain? I use NMM as a mod manager for my games and I install mods manually, so I don't know what you're talking about.

Where it unzips the file and installs on its own, to a separate folder as well in case you have to troubleshoot your mod list. Vortex does the same.

Know how NMM can(or could) connect to Nexus? That's basically what you can do with Mod Organizer 2 if you want to.
Ah, so it's basically the mod manager doing the hard task of unzipping a file into the game folder for you. Considering the fanbase that Bethesda has, I am not surprised.

It's hours of drudgery if you want to anything more than the basic community patches and splash screen removals, which as a fan of Outer Worlds I'm sure you can't relate to.

Not everyone uninstalls their game after they're done playing. Backup your game to a hard drive and you can fire up all your mods, plus add new ones, without an extra hassle next time you replay the game. Only amateurs depend on modlists someone else made for them, which I guess would compromise of a lot of Bethesda players from how popular they are. How that works considering that many mods(including essential ones) constantly go missing from Nexus and other sites is beyond me, I can't count the amount of mods across several Fallout games I have that you can't find online anymore.
Manual installation is more or less mandatory as far as I am concerned if you're going to modify the game yourself as well to know which files are actually being added, which I have been doing for over 10 years thank you very much. No need to depend on other people to custom tailor an experience for me when I have been making my own modules, large and small, for years to make an experience nobody else will ever have. Being able to copy the right textures/models/scripts ect. as a base is essential in that case, hence why you need to know what you're actually installing instead of just pressing a button and hoping for the best.
I'm not sure what Outer Worlds has to do with any of this, but thankfully that game isn't lacking basic features and isn't broken to shit, so it doesn't really need any patches or mods to actually get working. Not an experience Bethesda players ever had to deal with. Lord knows how console players are even able to tolerate Bethesda slop without QoL mods or even basic fan fixes, but I guess this is the least of Soystation fanboys' problems when their newest console has no games, period. Firing up the latest edition of Skyrim on their shitbox, even as broken and useless as it is without a bajillion mods, is still better than 98% of their current gen library.

It's been a while since we've had any good memes so here's this:

I don't think anyone expects any PS exclusives to stay exclusive anymore
Tell that to the Snoy faggots on reddit who still think that FFVII Remake Part 3 is going to be a PS5 exclusive even tho Square themselves said they won't be doing anymore exclusives deals because Rebirth flopped on PS5 :story:

Nah, I don't care if it's coming to PC. What I really want to see is Square releasing Part 3 onto the PS4 like Part 1. Now that would be peak comedy and an outright admittance that the PS5 is a failure.

Are the Soynys still using Gran Turismo to cope, as it has yet to get a PC Port? Or do the Soynys that care about PS's story-based games don't care about GT?
Didn't Gran Turismo get a movie? If so, it may actually get them interested, lmfao
Not like it matters, 3 and 4 are the best ones and you can easily play these on an emulator, for free...on PC.

Its the same game engine so theres a 99% chance it will release on ps4 unless square decides to once again burn their shit engine to spite nomura
