Sony hate thread

But Switch has an unprecedented amount of the absolute lowest tier shovelware, you can probably cut that list in half, and that's being generous. Look into it sometime, Nintendo has virtually zero quality control. It's notoriously referred to as a Portendo Switch too, which is actually a good thing to me because I like older ports for convenience, but that's another big portion of its library. PS2's library is surprisingly high quality and low on old ports.
that's hilarious because I remember a time gamedevs whining about not being able to publish on switch for "guaranteed sales". I'm sure they'll never understand how that relates to each other... but then most of them probably weren't around for steam greenlight.

I have trouble believing the stuff about the ending, would make a sequel seemingly impossible. Maybe one of the endings is a fake-out, probably the kill the bug people one. But no, I lean towards it all being fake.
from the /v/ thread when it was initially posted they have a whole "universe" planned out (because of course), or at least sequels with different planets. one way to do it is make it an anthology series, something which people often enough have said TLOU should've been.

Not sure if it has been posted but alleged plot leaks for Intergalactic has been posted in /v/

Knowing Drunkmann’s “subtle” writing, it’s hard to doubt the leak.

Also to compare Akira and Cowboy Bebop to this slop is beyond insulting.

Im confused why the leader of the Five Aces would call everyone to the planet except Jordan, and why did he shoot all the five aces members?

Still this plot outline sounds somewhat plausible.

But it (and the premise overall) sounds like pure bait for prequels.
There is at least a "BALDIE AND GANG DO SPACE SHIT" and one "THE ORIGIN STORY OF HOW BALDIE ANG GANG GOT TOGETHER" in there.
Just imagine how exiting it would be to find out how Baldie got the product placement ship. Or the definitively original red jacket. Riveting opportunities.
There is just too much backstory for a one off title, especially with the whole "shaving head because fatherless BPD chick wanted criminal" part.
Even the trailer seems like this game itself the sequel to something.

Is it retarded to roll up a series backwards ? Yes. intensely so.
Do we live in current year and is this both Sony and ND we are talking about ? Yes.
Especially since they could double dip and release a "remaster" of the previous title when the prequel arrives.
After all, this worked for RDR2 and these guys think they are the hottest shit since shit heaters were invented so they probably think they can pull it off too.

Prequel would be possible for sure but I also think the sequel angle is obvious if one group of humans got warped to a random planet why not another group? Or ten? Baldie Asian lady could set up a whole NGO to search the galaxy for mutant refugees to resettle on earth and galactipol would be out to stop her. Can I get a job writing games for playstation?

I don't think the cowboy beslop game will have gaming sequels or prequels, but will set cuckman up to start a Star Wars level (in his dreams) franchise in cinema and TV. The guy doesn't want to make games and the studio hates him. Why are these people allowed to exist?

I'm not as optimistic as some and believe that the consequences of Sony's woke bombs will be realised when this one fails to meet expectations. It will sell, but I don't think people will care enough.

It could trigger a change in Playstation.

PS5 owners are thirsty for an exclusive, and it's Naughty Dog. I really don't think it'll perform as badly as people think, unfortunately.
That's a good argument, and at the risk of repeating myself, we can't ignore the fact that there's 50% less PS5 around compared to the PS4. TLOU2 sold less than TLOU1 by a noticeable margin despite the double dipping, and it looked even worse when we factor that only 4 million copies were sold at full price.

Intergalactic needs to sell, and sell well. Spider-Man 2 sold 11 million copies and we know from the Sony leaks that it barely broke even, and both it and TLOU2 weren't as in-your-face about the woke, or antagonistic towards the audience, as Intergalactic is, which is going to put off a lot of costumers.

Sonyfag sunk cost fallacy might motivate them to buy the turd just to justify the money they've sunk into a DRM-brick with no games, but I'm still dubious. People were making the same argument back when the first Horizon was coming out, yet Sony had to bundle it with a PS4 to move copies.

Spiderman 2 is like the most in your face woke of all of Sony's first party stuff. And by the time this thing is out the PS5 will probably be at a 3 to 4 ratio to the PS4. I mean, its still selling well, its just games that people aren't buying anymore.

If Soyny doesn't think they're doing anything wrong after Concord, then nothing will trigger a change.

Edit: Read the leak, I can believe it because it looks like the exact kind of retarded shit nu-Naughty Dog would pull. They're too incompetent to even make "The Last of Starfield" so now it's a generic souslike, with no space combat or anything that people expected from Akira/Cowboy Bebop teasers.
Story sounds absolutely awful and unoriginal, exactly the kind of thing Cuckmann would write. Hope it crashes and burns, better yet that we get a leaked video spoiling the ending to confirm the leak just like with TLOU2.
BTW, cuckchan jannies are deleting all the comments calling out the bug people for being jews and shitting on jews, kek. What a shithole.

That's true, but I wouldn't be too surprised if this was a 2027 release. There's gonna be more PS5s out there by then. Might be a significant amount too, if they do a price drop. The rest of your points are valid too, just saying this might change.

that's just the obvious one, the worse part is
- be criminal
- need mcguffin from the cop spaceships
- lure everyone to mystery planet so the cops follow and somehow die (but keep the mcguffin intact)?
- loot their mcguffin so they can escape the planet.

if you're a fucking criminal already, why the FUCK wouldn't just STEAL the mcguffin you need? or was thievery not the crime (which is usually accepted, especially when it involves rich people) but something worse like kidnapping for ransom, running drugs or worse humans? fucking tax evasion? way to make the protagonist more relatable.

stupid shit like this is exactly along the lines of modern hollywood, which only makes it more believable cuckman wrote it.

so, 'member when Soyn added 10 million more units to PS2 sales at 4 AM to hold onto "their most sold consoles EVAR" crown?

...it didn't work, at least here in 'Murica.

Honestly if you just include the first world the Switch has long since surpassed the PS2. It has the total sales record due to how many it sold in places like latin America and southeast Asia. Thats also what has made it so hard to beat.

Arguably, gaming wasn't *as* mainstream back then as it is now, and the Switch has the benefit of the built-in fanbase who've grown up, bought the console for themselves, and for their families. A lot of us had to depend on gaming-illiterate parents to buy them a PS2 or any other console, so of course it wasn't going to sell as much. The climate today is too different for the comparison to be fair.

Still, it gives Sony zero excuse to not release fun games for their Apple-wannabe systems, and to be dragging this badly in the gaming market. PS2 had a massive library and the PS5's titles can be counted on your fingers.

You know what was extremely mainstream in the early 2000s? DVDs. A lot of people bought the PS2 as a high-quality DVD player that could also play a giant library of PS1 games plus new PS2 games, all for the same price as a cheap DVD player that everyone wanted to buy anyway. Meanwhile the Switch didn’t have a highly successful predecessor’s library to mooch off (remasters notwithstanding), followed up one of the biggest flops in the company’s history where public opinion was relatively low, and still doesn’t even have Netflix.

Agree with the first sentence in your post but strongly disagree with the other. The PS5 is still lagging far behind the PS4 since it's only sold ~60 million units despite being on the market for four years. The PS5 has no chance of ever catching up to the PS4 at this point, I won't be surprised if the PS5 doesn't outsell the PS3 since more and more people are waking up and realizing that the PS5 did not pan out the way everyone expected it to. Ironically Sony is doing a much better job at convincing people that PC gaming is a much better investment than buying their console.
