I have 0 interest in the online shit so that's ok with me. Release the fucking game rockstarGTA Online as an independent live service game, now it all makes sense.View attachment 6927988
I disagree, many of the most successful games in the past few years, and really, since the inception of gaming, did not boast cutting edge graphics. We are never going to ever move past 30fps, all because niggercattle value graphics over all else
Not anymore.Their only requirement on Switch has been “must have an ESRB rating lower than AO”.

Which is why I insist on stylised art designs as opposed to nose hair rendering realistic graphics.>targeting a solid 30 fps
This generation was advertised as 8k gaming up to 120 fps, LMAO
I wonder if this is where the £100 GTA 6 is coming from? £70 for the base game and £30 for GTAO2...which will be a yearly subscription...GTA Online as an independent live service game, now it all makes sense.View attachment 6927988
PS4 emulation isn't emulation strictly speaking. It's virtualization with a reimplementation of the PS4's APIs. So you don't actually need a strong PC to emulate PS4, you just need one with a CPU comparable to the jaguar in the PS4 (aka any CPU made after 2015).True but I'm sure it'll be a hassle and require a strong computer.
Wow, that's pretty cool. You mean Steam Deck could probably do it?PS4 emulation isn't emulation strictly speaking. It's virtualization with a reimplementation of the PS4's APIs. Manhunt 2 is on Wii, neither Rockstar nor Nintendo gives a shit.I was going to say something to that effect because I thought Nintendo was shy when it came to OTT violence like GTA, COD, etc. I know they allow fighting and violent games but don't they have a weird moral code when it comes to gaming?
I'm pretty sure ShadPS4 is way more GPU dependent, and requires a ton of VRAM instead. You do need a strong PC, but it can be absolutely bottlenecked and will be fine. Stick with your i7-4770 bros.PS4 emulation isn't emulation strictly speaking. It's virtualization with a reimplementation of the PS4's APIs. Theoretically (and i'm pretty sure a few 2D sidescrollers and stuff will be fine), but don't expect to play Bloodborne on the go anytime soon.Wow, that's pretty cool. You mean Steam Deck could probably do it?
Yes, ShadPS4 on a Steam Deck running Bloodborne gets comparable performance to a PS4 (although there is some stuttering here and there).Wow, that's pretty cool. You mean Steam Deck could probably do it?
Impressive. I might try to set it up and play some Gravity Rush 2 and Last Guardian some time, then.Yes, ShadPS4 on a Steam Deck running Bloodborne gets comparable performance to a PS4 (although there is some stuttering here and there).
The Wii also had Madworld and No More Heroes. Both comically over the top violent games clearly made for adults. No? That’s a stereotype from the Wii/DS era. Maybe Wii U if you’re being generous, but even that had Bayonetta and Isaac. Their only requirement on Switch has been “must have an ESRB rating lower than AO”.
Outside of shitty unoptimized AAA games and 4K, you don't really need a computer with anything crazy to run worthwhile games, including emulators. My i5 8400 2070 Super are still chugging along just fine outside of Cyberpunk 2077 and Planet Zoo. Zoo Tycoon 2 is better, anyway.Impressive. I might try to set it up and play some Gravity Rush 2 and Last Guardian some time, then.
And what is the percentage of THOSE PSN users that play GTA Online? I want to guess half.>like half of their PSN users are still on the PS4
That's not just a stereotype from the Wii/DS era, that's a stereotype from the NES and SNES era as well. One of the major reasons why Sega outsold Nintendo for a time in the US was because they actually let violent, mature titles on their console whereas Nintendo was doing things like... removing the red cross from hospitals in Earthbound or turning the blood in Mortal Kombat into sweat. No? That’s a stereotype from the Wii/DS era. Maybe Wii U if you’re being generous, but even that had Bayonetta and Isaac. NINJA'd! So close to figuring it out, who's the REAL puppet in that situation? I wonder if they're aware that they're talking about themselves with their pearl clutching.View attachment 6932781
this is the only "angry" one I could find, the rest are either praising the mod or going "lol, so many crybabies". Maybe they got baleeted?

So it's very close to the original experience.(although there is some stuttering here and there).
