The Xbox was just a $300 Halo machine, no one would've bought it if it didn't have that.
Funny I don't think I ever touched Halo games despite buying original xbox. I only bought that console just to play JSRF and Panzer Dragoon. Beside those, I didn't care about other games in xbox. If I could have started gaming earlier, I'm sure I would have been Sega tard but by the time I started the gaming, it already gave up on console manufacturing. When I switched over to PS2, I think I was obsessed with buying games that are rare to find in the west, those were mostly Japanese games, so I ended up playing a lot of those like Ape Escape 3 and Shadow Hearts and We Love Katamari.

Today marks 25 years since the PS2 hit the scene. What were your favorite PS2 games? Any fond/memorable experiences with the console?
Onimusha 3
Genji Dawn of the Samurai
Yakuza 2
Berserk: The Holy Demon War
Super Dimension Fortress Macross
SoulCalibur III

All dat PS1 Backwards compatibility too--which, by the way, fuck you Sony in your oriental assholes for making back compat on PS4 and PS5 a literal joke. How is it the year of our lord 2025, and the fucking Portland Posse at Microsoft are doing backwards compatibility better than you? They're literally in LAST PLACE, and they're boasting features your Pisstation 5 can't.

Druckman just said on twitter TLOU3 probably won't happen.

It's actually literally ogre.
Good news! I mean seriously, they release and re-release the two games and get diminishing returns. The IP has been dragged through the mud. Druckmann might think he made Shakespeare with his "bigot sandwiches" but he is a hack. He made sure that everyone better than him left and now there is no one to push the blame on.

I mean, I bet there'll be more but games take years upon years to make and they aren't gonna play second fiddle to fucking WB/HBO or whoever.
People keep forgetting that TLOU2 was a massive flop that didn't even sell half of what the first game did despite all the paid journo shills giving it 10/10's and sucking off Neil Cuckmann. People only bought the second game due to the goodwill that Naughty Dog had built up from the first game as well having a built-in audience from said game, not to mention the bait and switch Sony pulled with the game's deceptive marketing by hiding Joel's death scene.

This was one of the times where gamers started realizing that normies are paying attention to what is happening in games. People were excited for the sequel and looked up news on the game only to run into leaks that talked about Abbynormal's sex scene and her golf game and were spooked. Pre-orders were canceled and they waited to see if the leaks were true. Upon confirmation of the validity of the leaks, people just did not buy the game. The days when the normies did not know of the internet and what is up are over.

I would say, "So they gave up on a Days Gone sequel for this shit", but I'll believe it when they officially cancel TLoU3 dead to rights. If they could pull a fast one over their consumers with TLoU slop again, I have no doubt Sony and Naughty Dog would try it.
They will not cancel it outright. Either Druckmann leaves to pursue other projects or he has someone with veto power over him. The show is going on, there is no way they would cancel it and have that on the headlines. Sony does not have the money, talent or reputation to try to pull fast ones though they might still try. Their executives and shareholders are going to be keeping an eye on the studios after the recent cancellations. If people with brains felt the need to cancel so many expensive games, the bosses must be spooked.
