It's not even that, you'd think from a business standpoint they see the critical acclaim and might go "hmm, maybe we should patch it (outsource a patch to fromsoftware, maybe a pc port too) to get more sales from this PS4 IP".
This is modern Snoy under Herman Hulst, don't expect actual intelligent decisions from them. Just sit back, relax, watch the trainwreck, and play PC, Nintendo, or even Xbox with Windows installed if that's somehow your thing.

I would hope that Nintendo gets Gravity Rush and Astro Bot among other things.
>Sony backstabs Nintendo to make their own console (it was partly Nintendo’s fault but shut up)
>Nintendo buys the IP that’s meant to celebrate the Playstation brand

Please God let this happen because it would be so fucking funny.

At least Astro and Kat would be guaranteed Smash representatives, and saved from any potential SERIOUS fagification.

If that's the case, release the unreleased CD add-on for the SNES as a piece of museum.

New Patapon remasters and a new Everybody's Golf game announced via...a Nintendo Direct! Sony don't give a fuck no mo.
They're published by Bandai Namco, who recently also licensed Freedom Wars from Sony to publish a remaster of it. Evidently Sony will lend out their old unused IPs to anyone who wants them.

The cope from the soyny fans seems to be: "These IP's were dead. Nobody was buying them. Sony licensing them to Nintendo is a genius move because people will buy them now".

Failing to notice that by admitting that, they're admitting Sonyfags don't buy games, only Nintendo kids do. Nintendoing what Sony can't, sell games.

I hope they're better than the Freedom Wars port, at least the consensus of the PC one was bad, on top of having bad performance, the mouse controls are just mirroring the right stick which makes the whole game play sluggish.

We need a What Happened style series for publishers.
id step it up and say we need public executions for executives of game publishing companies
Jewson Schrier or whatever the fuck his name is, believes Intergalactic will slip to 2027.
the corrupt media will always shill for Sony, even if they gave them nothing thats how pathetic "Games Journalism is"

this, Sony will sell a box with no games and call us evil for calling them out on it, why the fuck would I play Assassins Creed or Cyberpunk on a PS5 when I already have a Gaming PC that can do other shit as well, fucking retards I tell you.

Tinfoil hat:
Sony are in financial trouble.
They're leasing IP's to Nintendo - their oldest, most bitter rival, and rumours are knocking about that they will sell off their movie business (probably to Disney).

Was concord the straw that broke the camels back? Intergalactic rumoured to be slipping to 2027. Is the clown show being put on hiatus for retooling?

What of Jade Raymond's studio that cost 200 million to buy, four years ago, and hasn't even made a game yet?

ND have 930 staff and haven't released a game since 2020, instead just re-releasing remakes of TLoU 1 and 2.

Here's a list of all games Sony are working on
Spoiler alert, most (seriously) are working on nothing.
Only ND - intergalactic, polyphony - GT7 and Haven - $faggame, are working on announced projects.
12,000 people work for playstation. No way are those financials making sense.

I can't wait for their next board meeting where they announce sales and financials. It won't be pretty.

Housemarque and Insomniac also have announced their projects and its not like San Diego are going to do something other than MLB. I think the "they've announced nothing" meme is a bit outdated now. They're starting to amass announced games.

"Check out these wax lips of a thousand uses!"

What games have the amassed? Their next announced game is GoT2, then nothing until fall 2026 at the earliest. (Unless wolverine makes it for xmas this year).

They'll have Midnight Murder Club (yeah, I've never heard of it either,) this year along with Yotei, then Saros (the Housemarque game), Wolverine after that and the Bungie stuff also probably in the next two years. I wouldn't be surprised if Intergalactic slips but it will be on PS5 and among their mountain of low effort Chinese games Convallaria and Lost Soul Aside both seem notable to me. Ugh, and then also Fairgames if you like seeing burning piles of money.
Put in MLB, another Asobi game and another GT and, well, its better than the 2020 to 2025 era has been.
