Sony hate thread

I certainly haven't seen these "good games" because my Switch became the "Smash console" like every other console Nintendo released since the Wii (not counting handhelds although they suffer a similar fate with Pokemon)
Super Mario Maker 2 and Mario RPG remake come to mind.

Stellar Blade have to much ass and tits for nintendo to accept it on their system
Nintendo have been far less censorious than Sony in the last decade or more, at least when it comes to third party titles.
Treehouse does push for censorship of first party tiles in their western releases and it has been affecting japanese rereleases and maybe it'll be more of an issue on switch 2 again, we'll see
It's depressing how much of the games industry is just trying to pick the least shitty option

Unfolded fucking sucks. Might as well consider it a different game.
I've heard that it's worse than the original version and I can understand how it'd be worse on a console but it couldn't be that bad, right?

(I liked Tearaway for what it was, nothing groundbreaking but it's relaxing and has a cute story, kind of reminds me of the Astro Bot games in that way. It also has my favorite usage of the Vita's gimmicks, they feel natural compared to some of the crap I've done in something like Uncharted Golden Abyss and they also have some narrative connection too)

Bayonetta 3 wasn't that long ago as a Switch exclusive. Only red flag is Neptunia being disallowed on the platform despite being rather tame.
The neptunia shit is definitely some fuckery with Compile Heart, not nintendo. Granted, I've never played anything nep, I just know it as the series that turned chris chan into a troon, but I've seen the topic come up several times on /v/, especially since a particular board schizo latched onto it, and from what I've seen, it looks pretty open and shut.

We waited for about 4 hours for a ps5 at a gamestop when it was hard to find and I've still barely played it. I don't understand the point unless it gets jailbroken and the games are free.
Spending money on video games seems retarded because games get boring after a day ,unless you are a sperg without hobbies or a job, or just give a fuck about pointless shit like 'cheevos', because free games are all over emulation now. So just play old shit like ps1 2 or 3. PSP is pretty good too.

If it's a must-play exclusive then I understand buying a console, but PS5 didn't have any at launch and never has has since.

The last nintendo i had was the one with ass vaseline graphics and 130 dollars inflation cartridge games, it was called N64 and there was no fucking eshop back then, lol.
At least all the games still work and they can't remotely brick it, unlike Switch 2 which is already getting bricked left and right by Nintendo.

bros, I thought that was a conspiracy theory blown out of the water! I thought daddy nintendo was le based!
I remember the same cope when people said that Pokemon Sword/Shield and Scarlet/Violet can brick your games(true) and there is no way to fix it since the problem lies on the hardware level. Every single developer was able to get around it except Gamefreak because they are hacks, but oh it was just a conspiracy theory until the first few switches got bricked because of it, and then reddit still coped that these must have been those dang dirty pirates so who cares!
Also lmao at Soyny being so dead that people would rather discuss building PCs or nintendo than talk about them in their own thread.

Yeah, I'm sorry for derailing :( The Switch 2 bricking bullshit just sticks in my craw for some reason and the N64 mention reminded me of it (for being immune to it). The worst an N64 would do was related to the cartridges, not the console (some carts used CR2032 batteries to keep volatile RAM alive for saves, which meant once they drained enough you'd lose your saves because there wasn't any power left to maintain them). But there was never an instance of a cart or accessory actually bricking the console.

Right, it's also the existential crisis of getting older and losing interest in games due to seeing the storylines and mechanics as shallow, compared to literature or real physical skills beyond tracking eyes + thumbs to control pixels on a screen, while still enjoying video game art, atmosphere, and music a lot.

I have to admit that while not knowing enough about UE5, everything I have heard about it makes it sound like a rush job. What do you guys think?
a lack of documentation for developers early on wasnt helpful back then and most of the features touted couldnt do certain things like nanite foliage and getting transparency to work with lumen
