The beta that was leaked was completely bloodless, so it was very clear that it wasn't finished yet. We already know how it ends story-wise but the gameplay itself was never final.

If you want a modern depiction of Jean Grey that is pretty, play Rivals. There is not a snowball's chance in Hell Insomniac is going to glow up the design of their Jean Grey, not as @Hermiöne Granger reminded us that they had the progressive psychopaths of SBI as consultants, they'll never change the design to make her attractive because that would be a recognition that THE CHUDS were right and that is inadmissible.

They'll rather lose money that please an audience they hate.

I don't care how "reliable" an actor she is (big whoop -- I show up to work on time every day too, so where's my fucking medal?), she's in EVERYTHING. I can't get past how ugly she is and how obnoxious she sounds. I always just go back to her (many) obnoxious twat characters on MadTV, especially the dumb recurring "what'd I do? what'd I do? what'd I do?" arrogant nigger character. Nails on a chalkboard.

A remake/remaster should run at the bare minimum as well as the original. If it runs worse, that’s an automatic F.
