This is the way. Got the same at a great price from some kid switching to pc because of (surprise) lack of games and the inability to play with his friends. 0 issues and I didn't give a dime to Sony. i bought a used ps3 for 100 bucks to play gta5 and the only reason i did that because the usb stick hdd didnt work on my diskless xbox. they are fucking retarded if they think people will buy a new ps5 just to play gta 6. now why the fuck did i buy the ps4 thats a good question.
I also picked up a PS3 a year ago. You can jailbreak it and turn it into a great couch console for playing old classics. Games keep getting shittier so it's great to be able to play games from an era where there wasn't rampant microtransactions everywhere and ugly fat black transwxmxn characters.

This is why you should buy old consoles from garage sales and Facebook Marketplace. I remember watching a video of someone opening up a "refurbished" Gamestop console which was clearly not refurbished at all. You are getting scammed if you buy an old console from a retailer. No old used console should be worth more than $100. MAYBE $150 max or $200 if it comes with lots of official controllers.

I'd go with the gaming laptop personally. I didn't know PS3s were going up in price, so are 3DSes. PS3s going up in price sounds bittersweet because that means people are realizing that was the last good Sony console.
Are people still trying to claim the switch 2 doesn't come with a dock? You need a tv to plug the dock into, might as well include that in the price as well. And you've gotta buy a house to put your tv in, so when all's said and done, the switch 2 is actually a half a million dollars, so the $900 ps5 pro starts looking like a steal, doesn't it?

You left out playing at 720p without the dock, this isn't 2010. Or even better, could play at 1080p/30fps so the moment there's a hiccup in the game(and we know everything is optimized perfectly these days of course) it can dip into being a slideshow even easier.
