Both of them could stop making games tomorrow and it would be a net positive for gaming.
Maybe. Doesn't change the fact that Kojima has contributed to gaming in the past and Druckman hasn't. Kojima will always have MG if he retires. What will Druckman have?

Honestly, I still play mine even though I have a PC. Mostly because I'm super paranoid about wear and tear on my PC stuff. I don't want to just play games on it 24/7 and wake up one day having my GPU die on me and then realize too late I was priced out of the hobby practically overnight. The paranoia is real, fellas.
I undervolted my CPU and GPU.

Snoy fans are coping about the price of the PS6. They say that it's a smaller die - thus cheaper to produce (it isn't), it will weight less so the shipping will be cheaper - it won't, shipping is done by volume, not weight (unless it's air freight) and that the PS6 will have weaker specs than a PS5PRO but because of PSSR3 - which the Pro has, it will be more powerful.

They swear that the PS6 will ackshually be $699 on launch because we can't know what will happen in the future, but whatever happens, all production costs will drop by 100% and Sony will immediately pass that on to customers.

The day that Sony announce that the PS6 will be $999+ is a day a lot of programming will be broken for the snoys.

It didn't have to be that way though. If the Online was a success, they could hire more people and split the team between those who wanted live services and those who wanted story. Now they have neither.

Imagine spending 7 YEARS of your life on a project only for it to be killed at the 11th hour by demand of Mr. Pretentious Douchebag just to shift you into working on his pet project. I would not have been surprised some of team member that were working on Factions quit ND shortly after.

When exactly are we expected to see a release of Intergalactic? The game was announced in the tail end of 2024, if guessing production started shortly after TLOU2 was shipped in 2020 and Factions was cancelled in 2023 to add more people to the project, let's say the game has roughly five-ish years in development now and we can expect at minimum another 2-3 years before it is ready (TLOU2 took about 8 years by comparison) so 2028-2029 if everything goes without a hitch. I think this game is going to bomb and take ND down with it, there is no recouping the development cost of Factions since it never released and now add whatever more hundreds of millions Intergalactic is going to cost. NaughtyDog has lost all credence with the hardcore audience after the Joel bait-and-switch and the overall shit show that was the story of TLOU2 and somehow they are expecting people to come again for a new game written by this same woke asshole with one of the worst looking female protagonist ever put on a game. They are delusional if they think this game is going to recoup the costs of development.

Oh! and the only damn hardware this game is going to run on has never gotten a discount and instead it keeps going up in price so good luck trying to reach a wider audience.

What is the plan here? Are they just counting that people will buy PS5s by the truckload regardless of price to play GTA VI and then that's their ticket to grow the install base and by default those same players will buy Intergalactic?

Kojima was an excellent game designer who thought he could write and was left to his own devices because Konami didn't give a shit until it was too late

The problem is that Druckman is not a designer and cant write and for some reason Sony does give a shit. But they give a shit about placating him for some reason. Even HBO realized that he was a hack, way too late but ya know news travels slowly in those circles I guess

Sony drunk the woke Kool-Aid and started believing woke was the future. Druckman is a high charisma low intelligence low wisdom build that could persuade but not deliver.

With exactly one exception, the next playstation has always released at $100 more than the "highest end" model of the current playstation. Ps3, the only one to break this trend, nearly killed the entire fucking company.

Doing that will kill PS5PRO sales and SOny will have to take a hit and reduce their price anyway, so why not do it now? Oh right, because they're retarded.

It’s funny, Shift up is self publishing for stellar blade 2. Soyny fucked up. I also bet even with RAM going down in price, The PS6 is still going to be 1k.
