But unlike Ubisoft, Sony doesn’t have to care if you don’t buy their game because they’ll get 30% of everyone else’s revenue and normies will celebrate how great their system is regardless because it has FIFA and Fortnite.

I was watching the Wolverine gameplay and honestly the combat doesn't look like anything new that you couldn't get from the old beat-em-up Yakuza games before the series pivoted to turn based combat. Also lol at the regenerating when your health depletes. Why even have a health bar at that point.
 
I understand that it's a videogame and so it needs to contain videogamey elements but I'm baffled at the idea of fucking Wolverine of all characters needing to gather components in the environment so he can craft health kits.

Wolverine canonically has probably the strongest regenerative abilities of any mutant except Deadpool.

It would be thematic as well given that Wolverine is supposed to be a hyper aggressive ball of violence.

One thing I do like about Japan/Asia is they nail striking or memorable video game character design. Part of this is usually making sure the character looks good, visually pleasing. Even if it is someone who is more ugly or odd in design, or based on the actor's portrayal, there is still something within the design that makes them memorable. An example of "woke" that I think works which you may disagree with.

Why does she stand out in spite hitting the usual woke design marks? Because she is the ONLY female character in the game to have these traits, as well as not being a complete, usual wokescold cunt, and having a funny trait of being an insane driver. No other female character is heavily tattooed looking like a trainwreck, not being attractive, they all fit their original designs. If it was a typical modern western game, it would look like Saints Row (the remake) - EVERYONE LOOKS LIKE THIS!

Alternatively, if you look at someone like Sam Porter Bridges from Death Stranding - it's Norman Reedus, but the costume design of the character is so odd and unique that you look at it and more or less instantly know where it's from. Even someone like Kiryu from Yakuza - he's a guy who punches people, but his suit, his hair, the dragon tattoo and character make him memorable.

They seem to understand a core part of character design that frankly most of these western big games that are advertised do not. They always have to self insert the shitty office politics/culture into the game where it sucks everything from it.
 
whats the market share of people who played nuGOW, Ragnarok and were claiming to play as Kratos wife? Or their market pitch is going to brownbeat everyone to play this thing? Who was this game made for

Nico's tattoos serve to frame and spotlight her attractive features. Woke designs usually just add ink without care for placement.
