This looks absolutely awful btw, it's like the exact opposite of cool.

Why though? I dislike it but it's ornate and magical looking, and high detail. It reads as something that I should find cool, but it's just not.
That stupid giant purple blob in the middle is ugly and shouldn't be the focal point on a suit of armor. Also, there should be boobs there instead of a giant ugly blob. I'm not even talking about fan service giant boobs or lingerie armor (although that probably sell more than this thing). Something tasteful with an average bust size to distingish that this armor is intended for a woman would be improvement over the sexless look.
Finally, and this is more of a nitpick, but why are there multiple belts? And if there is truly a need for three belts, then why the heck don't any of them match?
EDIT: This game's entire schtick is "you get to play as a female protagonist in GoW," but they won't actually give you feminine features in the armor. Instead, they're trying to sell a unisex armor set as a means of boosting pre-orders. It's tonally inconsistent.
Frankly, even the few women out there ready to pay $70 at launch for this game probably aren't wow'd by this armor, either. Women like to look good in video games, too. Again, the armor doesn't need to be fan service-y, but flat-as-a-board bust with pregnant blob in the waist proportions doesn't look fashionable or badass or womanly to anyone not on a corporate board.
And the kicker? You know darn well that if Faye was a tranny, then they would have given her the biggest tits in the game like they did that troon character in
Concord. PS5-era Playstation will bend over backwards to give a man boobs, but not the female protagonist in her own freaking game.
