It's always been full of grifting and nonsense, going at least back to Newton and the numerous faggy slapfights he got into with other scientists/mathematicians.Science and academia used to be trustworthy but now its full of grifting and nonsense
Ironically, questioning science is literally how science fucking works.Replication studies are meant to weed out the fake science, trash science has always been a problem, but replication studies aren't getting funded these days so it's getting harder and harder to identify the trash science. Though to be fair studies that can't be replicated aren't always a result of deliberate misinformation, sometimes scientists just accidentally stumble on an outlier, and sometimes they do make honest mistakes. My point is, you're supposed to do the same thing over and over again. This is why the idea of "settled science" is silly, yes there are certain things that are so universally considered to be true that it seems silly to go against it, but even those things need to be able to withstand replication studies.
Tell that to your momI don’t think we should attempt to create life nor pursue in doing so, only horrid abominations awaits us.
Just be glad I am not born a pajeet to shit up this website, it could be a lot worse for everyone.Tell that to your mom
Speaking of pajeets, do you know they were caught using artificial intelligence to make scientific papers a few months ago?
im not trying to spread fake newsYou should change the text to include "intelligent life"
One time I poured the milk into the bowl before the cereal. What is the most mad scientist thing you have ever done?
The current state of most of the sciences is dire. The whole thing needs a spotlight shone on it and it need a whole load of skepticism and mockery (and a few mass hangings starting with the Covid culprits…)oh great another thinly veiled anti-science thread
