He's claiming fujoshis liking him fagging up his writing is validating to his capacity as a storyteller. This guy has been on the internet for more than 15 years and thinks appeasing fujoshis to tumblr is an accomplishment of good writing.

Was the entire of Emperor TTS a fluke? How does someone who think like this make something that good to begin with?

Some parts of The Parenting are enjoyable. The cage match and Pyotr hunt were great. The surprise chapter house battle too.

It's just this bizarre faggotry set in the early 2000s which, if you lived through, is completely against the zeitgeist as being a faggot wasn't propagandized as all hell and the generation of lonely sexual degenerates on the internet hadn't grown up yet.

The custodes were not treated the same way. They were played for comedy and the emperor disapproved of their buggery and debauchery nonstop usually verbally, and when pushed too much with physical violence.

Everytime they made sexual remarks near dorn he would beat them extremely vionelty and when one of them suggested he wanted to have sex with magnus the emperor violently banished him from the 40k universe into warhammer.

Compare and contrast his attitude there with his attitude in the parenting where its treated more like a shitty fujo fantasy than actual comedy where he's 100% on board with it.

I don't know why we're talking about Bruva Alfabusa in the Space King thread but I'll chime in.

Nearly all the romantic relationships in Hunter: The Parenting are gay couples.

Magnus and Kitten
Big D and Occam
Matilda and Amanda

The only straight couple depicted are Kitten and Grimaline, and they're dysfunctional exes. All the gay couples are functional and lovey-dovey. The only one that doesn't work is Matilda and Amanda and that's only because they're tied up in War of the Roses shit.

To be fair, Big D is a gold digging man-whore and all his marriages were shams for resources, including with Occam despite his apparent ignorance of that fact.

It's a sham. There's a user in the Warhammer thread who used to hang out with Alfabusa and according to him, Alfa used to be as much a shitlord as we are. Then he got e-famous and that's when he started sliding left.

Alfabusa is also married and has children, so his wife might also be an influence, like Anisa and iDubbbz.

The fact that it's not "made for" women seems to be the entire reason they like watching it.

It's "misogynistic," and I say that in quotes because it's presented in an ironic juvenile "girls have cooties" kind of way. Tom and Don obviously aren't real misogynists and they're mostly just making jabs at Games Workshop, which is doubly ironic because they did a 180 by having female Custodes for daddy Blackrock's allowance money.

That being said, I don't understand why a lot of women find the show endearing. Maybe it's like that episode of South Park where Cartman gets his own theme park and won't let anyone in, creating a FOMO scenario that makes the park popular again. Or maybe the absence of female characters makes the male characters feel "available" if the fan art is anything to go by.
 
This video rightfully glazes Space King, shits on (fairly criticizes) Glitch, and the channel makes his own Indie animation which is fairly good in my opinion.
I'd recommend checking this guy out if you're interested in actual "indie" animation

Sadly he still calls Gooseworx "she" though *sigh* you can't win them all...

I don't need to watch the video because the real reason Tom and Dom curb stomp Glitch Productions is because Glitch doesn't make real shows, they pander. They even made one of those shitty "magical girl" animes and it flopped if memory serves.

Tom and Don are making something they actually want to see and not something that's gamed for the widest net of audiences.

Because they can see the stupid anarchic fun the show has and can pick up that it's kind of a love letter to that time when they (and their siblings, cousins, etc) were eight and banging action figures together.

It may not be for them, but they can appreciate what it's trying to do and how it harkens to what is, in a few ways, a better time.

tbh, it isn't as bad as the Non-binary character referring it as "They" in the Norfolk Wizard Game (taking the same universe as H:TP, but in America).

I will say this Magnus and Kitten was fine, until chapter 5 when we see them separated, Kitten becomes useless and, slowly becoming one of the worst characters because how much of a whine bitch he his.
