Let’s debate space programs.

I’ll start first, I don’t see SpaceX, Blue Origin or any commercial space providers to be an evil and it’s actually a wonderful thing to have when developing space based infrastructure.

Also communism wouldn’t lead to space exploration. The Soviets only explored space as an pissing contest against the US.

It wasn't a pissing contest, it was a race to develop ICBM tech for delivering nukes to their enemies first. The soviet's won.

While America was focused on going to the moon. The Soviets were developing how to actually live in space. Which is now the basis of the longest-lasting phase of human space flight. The ISS was a result of the Americans farting around and then realising the Russians had developed something long-lasting and decided to cooperate to help fund it and learn what they had learned.

As for SpaceX and Blue Origin. Blue Origin needs to build something to attempt to reach orbit. The whole thing smacks of too much money and going, "we should be in this space as there'll be growth in the future." Yet not knowing what to do in that space. Piss farting around with ideas. No direction.

SpaceX is going gang-busters with Falcon and Dragon. Starship is too ambitious and won't ever work out as we're told it could. I say this fully aware this opinion comes from a place of complete lack of expertise. Landing on the chop sticks, it'd be cool, I just don't see it happening. Also, the idea of a 16-story tall lunar lander is retarded. If anything like that happens it'll be nothing like the renders we have seen.

I suspect Starship won't ever launch humans into space. It'll be a giant pez dispenser for Starlink and other cargo hauling to space while Falcon and Dragon take people. Possibly if it carries humans, they won't be launched on it from Earth. They're just rendevous with Dragon. I reiterate I have no expertise to make these assessments, I am just a space enthusiast. I would gladly like to be proven wrong.
