I randomly remembered something I had completely forgotten last night.
This was probably...late 2013, I wanna say? It took place whenever Welcome to Night Vale had blown up. Unfortunately, I don't have any caps or logs, I'm pretty sure most of this took place over a call anyway.
Spring had a Night Vale RP blog. He was 18 at the time. He made a friend there that he roleplayed with a lot; their name was Bunny and they were 14. I guess a bit of a disclaimer is needed here: from an outsider's perspective, Bunny seemed very unstable. A lot of mental problems. They said they were an abuse (and maybe rape?) victim, but I never really knew them personally, so I can't verify or deny that.
Spring had told me once that Bunny had a crush on him, but he knew they were too young and according to him, he wouldn't ever dare, and he didn't like them like that anyway.
Alright, so fast-forward a few weeks and months, and Bunny seems kind of...obsessed with him? Infatuated, I guess. I don't ever really see him do anything about it, which doesn't sit right with me. You'd think he'd at least tell them to stop, but nope. I'm pretty sure they called each other a few times, too.
One day, I don't remember how, but I ended up finding Bunny's personal vent blog. There were a bunch of chatlogs on there that Bunny had posted, between them and Spring, where he would confess how much he liked them, and how he wanted to secretly date them without anyone else knowing. Basically, all the skeevy shit we've been seeing from people posting in this thread. And there were logs where they'd talk about sexual things too, like kinks and fetishes, stuff they liked.
I ended up confronting him about it, because I was livid. His answer? "Those aren't real, I never said that. They made up those logs and posted them."
Now, as I mentioned earlier, Bunny didn't seem like the most sane person, and Spring had never given me a reason to doubt him before this, so I believed him. I kept seeing Bunny post more logs between the two of them, where he said he loved them and believed in them to be a good person and all that cheesy shit. Anytime I asked, he'd answer with some variation of "I'm too scared to tell them to stop talking to me."
Eventually, they both just stopped talking to each other. Maybe he unfollowed them. I don't really know.
I didn't think much of it back then, because like I said, he was trustworthy (at least I thought he was) at the time. But now, knowing what I know, I definitely think they were involved and I caught him on it.
