What's the difference between "main", "primary", and "secondary" kins supposed to be? Doesn't "main" and "primary" imply the same thing? I don't understand.

Then why has nearly everything pertaining to the boyfriend posting disappeared? They got worked up, accidently broke character (talking about Springtrapp's kin identities and responding to questions from followers using first person) and needed to delete everything to save face.

Tumblr doesn't alert you when people unfollow. You have to check your follower count to see if anybody left.
So Spring would only see their follower count rise and dip by one repeatedly.

I guess mains are the ones you like pretending to be the most, then primary would actually be the secondary ones to pretend to be, then the secondary would be the tertiary set.
At least most actual otherkin have the decency to 1. only really identify as (not "with" as Tumblrinas love to say, as if liking a character makes you that) one or two things, and anything beyond that calls for reassessment of yourself and 2. realize it's outlandish to begin with and not flip their shits over skepticism (and actually promote it). Of course everything said on Tumblr has to be taken as the Gospel truth, even if someone claims to be 100 cartoon characters.

Before the posts got deleted some of the asspaters were claiming the boyfriend totally wasn't a head mate since they'd talked to him. Because its not like people can make separate accounts or anything.

So it really just boils down to "this is a list of my favorite characters that I like roleplaying as".
I've been roleplaying as a certain character for over two years now and enjoy him quite a lot, but even though I probably identify more with this character than someone like KP does with their neverending list of kins, I'm not going to go around telling people he's my kintype/fictive/what-the-fuck-ever because that's just fucking stupid.
