Yeah I thought we were all talking about how Tumblr praises dirty/lazy behavior as well. Though it seems like there must have been more shitposting than just the asshole telling her her to kill herself.
Is saying she's gross the same as acting mad at her or saying we're better than her? I'd like to know- I hope I haven't been shitposting without even realizing. Maybe we're all focusing too much on everything she posts?

The enthusiasm is appreciated, but this thread has been moving at a breakneck pace. Let's all just chill and maybe listen to some smooth jazz or something, IDK.

Ugh Imagine her in 10+ years. 30 or more years old, alone because people irl can't stand her, 50+ headmates, ranting about mean adults, much fatter and grosser, rotten teeth, more self diagnosed mental illnesses than ever before...

This is how I envision the future for most of these tumblr creeps. I mean nothing good can happen if your life revolves around a website where gross behaviour (such as not showering/brushing your teeth/eating like a pig) is encouraged or gets defended.

I usually see them fading away by that point, to be replaced by younger ones, since they will all lose their comfy and safe position eventually. Be it through the death of a parent or them being forced to actually suffer hardship by being cut off. I predict that those circumstances eventually leads to a sort of sink or swim moment. They either mature and stop the nonsense... or they need to access tumblr at a net cafe since they don't have a connection otherwise.

As an aside, I need to get a better grip on what I say definitely. I know I've let loose a few too many "bitches" in this thread.

Is there some reason that Tumblr lolcows have so many blogs? I can understand it if you're actually producing art or fiction that you want to isolate in its own space, and I can kiiind of understand it for game-specific blogs or roleplaying (even if Tumblr roleplaying is about the stupidest thing on Earth, aside from maybe Twitter roleplaying), but why in God's name do you need a separate Tumblr just for reblogging pictures you like? Is it to create the illusion of making content ("look at all these Tumblrs I update with the same generic reblogging!"), or is it just to make sure no whiny text posts ever get lost in the crowd?

I think it's probably the latter. Just keeping the pretty, pretty pictures separate from the very important whining.

some people think that they can use their tumblr blog to express how they truly think and feel. something separate from their actual lives where they feel they have to fake it because of family or friends or society in general.

using tumblr as a secret diary to put all of these feelings is, though, probably the most retarded thing you can do. since it's the internet and it makes permanent archiving and sharing (to people you know in real life) incredibly easy.

I have noticed that there seems to be a general trend among lolcows in thinking that the internet is private. Probably just a necessary trait for us to notice them though rather than a lolcow trait.
