Simple: because of the exact reason you posited. A lot of people do that "fuck it, I'll let others do it for me." attitude regarding these things and let this continue.

And it might have the same effect as being detained for suicide threats and make her not do this again.

Adam is some guy from Saw, perhaps it's one of Jeremy's identities and so that's why she's referring to him as Adam.

Also, don't bother calling the authorities. It's Spring. Don't start a police investigation due to something a reputable liar, over-the-top and oversensitive idiot says. Not to A-Log, but she's nowhere near reputable or reliable enough to start an investigation over.

If it does continue and begins to look serious then do. But Spring loves attention and probably thinks this is so edgy and gritty right now. This is like the dog 'attack', Spring likely fleshed it out and puffed it up to have something violent to post about and score edge points.

I'm pretty well convinced at this point that part of Spring and Jeremy's relationship involves beating each other up. That's why she's been so vague about the cut and now the punched in the nose thing. That said, if it was bad, she would have already uploaded pictures of her cool new bruise.

As much as I might have thought that the age difference already made their relationship weird, all the details with the alcohol, drugs, and the (assumed consensual?) injuries make this into a situation that I don't think any minor should be in, or even anyone at all.

Though I should add, I am also not advocating weenery.

Fictional gay relationships almost exactly like this are popular in pretty much every corner of tumblr fandom (Cain and Abel from Starfighter would be a good example). It's like they're reenacting exactly the kind of relationship that tumblr lusts after, just like one of those shitty yaoi MVs on youtube where all of the male characters are played by women.

Back in my day if you wanted two dudes in a series to fuck, you just fired up MSN and roleplayed with some other like-minded sicko who didn't understand how real relationships work with a similar disregard for canon.

Which is really the whole underlying process to this kin thing. It's just an extension of roleplaying gone mad. Unfortunately, in the tumblrverse, just liking something isn't enough, you have to be an autistic version of that character. This whole tired path actually underscores the falseness of it, since once you move on to a new interest that other ~personality falls instantly by the wayside. When was the last time we were treated to springtrap weeping about ableism from his arcade and threatening to stuff us in a suit? Now it's biker time, which will also be swiftly discarded. You think it would be incredibly traumatic for your entire self to just die as another weird gay autist takes your place, instead of a rapidly cycling sense of self (and that 'self' is usually some wage slave living with parents).

That's a lot of words so tldr roleplaying is the basis of all evil men do

Didn't she say a couple weeks back that she had never used drugs other than sleeping pills? Looks like Springs just hit her first spliff and cut herself on the edge :lol:

I still can't get my head round why she gets so upset over others "being" the same character she is. As well as being the type to blame her imaginary friends for eating all the cookies, she also fights with the other children over who gets to be the favourite character during playtime. Mr. and Mrs. Springtrapp, the Tumblr Kindergarten sounds just perfect for your special little daughter!

She could have low self esteem and worry that other people write her characters better than she does. it's just easier to yell about being them and therefore can't be wrong than admit she's just a bad rper.

It's because the more people claim to be kin with the same character as her, the less special her snowflake. Not that any of them were special in the first place.
