Nathan Prescott is a schizo-bipolar, snotty, white rich kid whose parents own the entire town of Arcadia Bay. He has been verbally and emotionally abused by his father and has anger issues because of it, and he carries a gun around the school (which the principal dutifully ignores). His parents' wealth allows him to enable the game's true antagonist to drug, kidnap, and possibly rape/murder teenaged girls after forcing them to take photographs (or posing their bodies if they are unconscious). The true antagonist has taken him under his wing and Nathan has attempted to rape at least one girl already, but she managed to escape, thankfully. I am not surprised that Grease likes such a sleazebag character, to be quite honest.

That second one from the top is incredibly depressing, especially coming from a teenager. They've become so focused on their stupid yaoi roleplays that they don't even have an identity outside of it. Rape is, in fact, a very serious issue. While the whole idea of a "rape culture' is extremely silly and just one of those Tumblr SJW movements they use to get asspats and attention, there are some stigmas about rape and a lot of issues, both mentally and emotionally, that arise from it. It can alienate friends and family if you're raped by someone close to you or close to other people. Sometimes it can be dismissed or even outright covered up depending on who the victim and who the assaulter is, as sometimes we're a fucked up people who value frivolous things like titles or perceived social status over the well-being of others. And sometimes rape victims feel like they're helpless or shunned into silence because they can't trust other people, or feel completely intimidated by their rapist, and that trying to speak out against it would only lead to more serious problems or would be a fruitless endeavor. It can make you feel helpless and useless and indeed there are issues with rape victims that we do need to be worried about and address.

THAT BEING SAID.

Rape is not and should not be a clutch for your mental development. Mentioning rape for pity points does not make you look like a victim, it makes you look like a leech that is playing on tragedy for their own self-gain.

Do you happen to know why issues like rape, or transphobia, or PTSD, or any of this shit are all recent developments? It's because our society has been gradually become more accepting to talk about these issues in a mature dialogue. Before then, this stuff was often swept under the carpet and best left ignored, because no one likes to talk about this and no one wants to talk about this. It was commonly accepted that the best way to deal with issues like this was to ignore them and hope that their victims improved or shit, but now we have the Internet. We have ways for these people who suffer from the issues to come together and cope. There might be only one person in a town that suffers from PTSD because his friend got his head exploded by a sniper bullet and no one else can understand his pain, but on the Internet he can talk with more people. He can form connections, he can cope, and eventually they can bring the issues to light. These are things that no one likes talking about, but is brought up because ultimately, the treatment of these issues and the people suffering from them can be better.

They're not so you can whine and make yourself feel better. They're not an excuse for you to make up nine different headkins and then cry rape when someone looks at you funny.
