Doublepost... but!

There's a magnet for the recent "Discord Unveiled" project, which had a similar goal and also made the rounds recently. I had actually thought that's what Searchcord was when I first saw it.

The DDL to the download on Zenodo has since been restricted, but there's some background about the project on the Arxiv.

Someone who downloaded the dataset before it was taken down made a magnet (~118GB ZST compressed JSONL):

And they fucking killed it... When can a actual good discord search engine drop
Nobody calls the Internet Archive a stalking site when all they do is pretty much scraping everything on the internet. But, when someone tried to scrape Discord for archival purpose, they are called stalker?

Hopefully, when someone try to recreate spy.pet, they should use normie-friendly words such as "archiving" instead of "tracking" just like how Null told us to stop using the word "doxing" but use "phonebooking/unmasking" instead.

@grand larsony Here you go kang 👑

weeks late but searchcord released their article
archive
Super fucking ESL, but from what I'm getting at is that he didn't take it down because of legal troubles from trooncord or users complaining, but that trying to host 200 Billion+ messages on a website shat up his servers and was a huge monetary sink, so he just didn't bother keeping it up anymore, supposedly.

Wrong website, it's searchHUB not searchCORD
I personally don't think searchhub has enough logs to really be effective. Maybe this is just a me problem.

I went to test if the guy I was looking into was just too niche by looking up my actual username. There was nothing in that function of actual substance. It says I have a Strava account under that name. My strava account is connected to a username that's my actual name, so that's a dud. What the site does is inputs a username you want to find into a small list of websites to see if there's a hit. I don't think your average guy will have an account on Adult Friend Finder or whatever other sites it looks through.

do any of you know any new ones, trace.rip is upcoming but i swear there is another spy.pet sorta clone

Seems as if searchhub in both its ru and vip domains have stability issues as of late and by checking the bluesky of the clone service posted above, it looks like controversy in its discord server may be related to the service disruptions. Many such cases.

You have some hefty shoes to fill, trace.rip. Let's see if you can actually deliver.
