"The 10 episode series will look into the lives of Trump and his family as they journey through the first year of his presidency. The network describes the show as a “fresh, cutting-edge comedy,” that will present the “tru-ish adventures of Trump’s confidants and bon vivants — family, top associates, heads of government, golf pros, and anyone else straying into his orbit — intrepidly exploring their histories and their psyches, revealing insights into what makes them so definitively Trumpian.” According to Showtime, “it’s a workplace comedy where the office happens to be oval; it’s a character study in search of character, as seen through the eyes of an imaginary documentary crew.

The untitled series does not have a premiere date but will debut sometime this fall."

"Fresh and cutting edge".

There was literally an animated TV show about George W. Bush on Comedy Central with a very similar premise. What makes you think that this kind of thing has never been done before?

Don't even need to go back that far. Comedy Central, Vice, MTV, and CNN turned all their programming into the 24 Hour Fuck Trump Spectacular like eight months ago.

This whole show seems like its going to be cringe incarnate.

Christ they're still running with this?

"Peepee tape peepee tape peepee tape!" a 53 year old man shouts while bouncing on a bed.

Truly this will be the height of comedy, and not a bleak look into the psyche of it's writers.

I doubt it's going to have an iota of the wit and charm that Trey Parker and Matt Stones series had.

If I know 2017 Liberal Comedy writing my guess is the documentary crew stumbles into a Whitehouse closet and finds Trump in baby diapers and holding a rattle. Probably be a ongoing running joke throughout the whole series. While a Black character and another Female character clean up Trumps messes and are the ones actually running the White House.

But the late night show hosts are the ones going on and on about how America is burning to the ground, aren't they?

How unprogressive of you to perpetuate the notion that anyone black or female (or black and female, for that matter) can do any wrong to the point where they can fuck a country up once they're sworn into office.

I look forward to seeing they'll go about portraying the media as heroic and courageous for doing what they're doing, as well as keeping track of how many times "Russia" is said in each episode after this show airs.
