This detailed list shows all my current telephones tied to my Avaya Definity G3R9 PBX. This list does not feature extensions, but just what is tied into the system. My Cisco or Mitel sets are not part of this matrix as it’s not currently being used as any “production” systems. Add in the Mitel and Cisco adds another 12 phones, but as I said, they aren’t counted in this matrix.
Except for the wall mount 2500, most of these sets that are analog are tied to it’s own ring group, and even COR, as it’s not intended to take actual calls.

CallMaster IV Avaya Digital Black Set requires the old fashioned operator adaptor to answer/place calls. Also the unit has two separate jacks for four-wire
and two-wire environments. Ring tones (pitch wise) sound like IP sets, despite being made a decade before. Bought in June of 2016.
2500 Wall Mount set AT&T (Post Divesture) Analog, POTS Beige and/or “Misty Cream” Set is not electromechnical, IC guts inside. Quality is cheaper, ring tone reminiscent of the 7101 and other consumer analog sets at the time (even the 1810 dual answering machine set.)
7101 AT&T (Avaya) Analog, POTS Black Take the desi paper and it has an upper shell of a 7410 or BIS 10 set.
