Strange creatures in dreams

There are already several threads about dreams on Kiwifarms, but this one is specific for creatures or monsters that spawned in them, even if you had them during nightmares. If you think they were creative or interesting enough, you can describe them here.

This has more potential than AI attempting to generate them, who knows, maybe it will inspire someone else.

I'll just start with one I had last night:
I was in a forest, and on top of a set of bushes, amongst all other fantastic plants around, there were mechanical, gigantic ladybugs laying on there (similar to a Coccinella septempunctata, although they may have had a different number of black spots, also, the red was lighter & slightly orange-ish).

There were a bunch, about 1m in diameter, and their head & pronotum (the black section) had way more segments, making them capable of expanding and bending at will. The cool part about them, is that in their mouth, instead of the actual thing in nature, they had chainsaw-chains on the left and right side of the mouth, as pincers that were slightly hidden, but ready to use anytime.

Very cool dream with the ladybugs, the plants were also beautiful. Some had white and green colors, reflecting soft light like futuristic lamps, and others had white & soft petals, hiding a maroon-in-color mass of powder that would attract more bugs!

Catbloods or bloodcats, gatos de sangre, an species that only thrived in dark rooms slightly illuminated by red light, they could only survive crushed beneath the weight of a big mattress and thus they could be found hidden beneath the bed frames of people with red see-through curtains . They leaked blood because they looked like mutilated corpses of cat people, you would know one has found you because you would find blood on the floor near your bed. They came to be because of the brutal murder of a cat person, and they were dangerous for some reason, i don't exactly remember how.

i once witnessed a very sinister lizard type of critter. it was filled with lies and anger and hiding in a box of fruit and had glowing eyes.

Once when I was a boy I dreamt a dark being of absolute evil had attacked me. Crushing my chest, squeezing the air out of my lungs. I couldn't breathe nor move. And then it took my hand into it's maw and had began to eat it when suddenly I awoke. My dog had laid herself on me and was busy licking my hand. She was waiting for me to wake up.

I do remember that blue and yellow dog headed, multi tailed griffin electric pokemon. his design was inconsistent: his forearm were either dog paw or bird leg. climbed on his back and he bring me in a fantasy land

Has anybody ever had a dream of a pig charging but the front part of his body is almost gorilla shaped and they kind of hop?

Edit: I think I was imagining Vordt of the Boreal Valley from dark souls 3. It’s crazy to think how strong the bosses in that game could be if they were all giant, lethargic cripples. Even dancer of the boreal valley has some kind of insanely bad scoliosis

One dream I remember quite well, even though the creature never really show themselves fully.

I was in a train, with other people. And it was not going anywhere that I know, we were just traveling around.

The scenery was beautiful, but if you looked outside of the windows without trying to look (like sideways I guess), it changed to a very dark and desolate forest. Creatures with some kind of tentacles lived there, sometime would appear to be in the train. Then just disappear as you would look up.

At some point, the train stopped in some kind of weird isolated village, and the people wanted to invite us to a feast. It was fine at first, then I noticed there was some weird things going around, ended up back in the train.

I remember waking up and wondering if this was from a movie I saw, but I never was able to think of one.

I don't think I've ever seen creatures with specific features but I had sleep paralysis demons for a while (which is basically just like a dark/shadowy figure with no specific figures in my case) and that shit fucking sucks

Once in a really intense sleep paralysis episode, I was stuck looking at the door to my bedroom and there stood a sinister robot thing made entirely out of wriggling tinker toys.

My first encounter with sleep paralysis as a teen featured a sentient horse skeleton that just loomed over me while I was stuck looking at my ceiling

Also, normally if I'm dreaming, I'm convinced the dream is IRL. So a boring dream will be "reality" to me then.

i had this dream where the sun suddenly disappeared and it was complete darkness outside, and for whatever reason these weird ass green cats with no eyes started roaming the streets, they would appear as normal housecats if you stared at them from a distance, but if you went near one, they would elongate their bodies and charge at you while screaming nonsense. if i remember correctly, if they got you they would eat you whole or something like that.

He was so red that he made the sky red by proxy. Was stomping on a shitload of buildings like a kaiju.

I don't understand how on earth I took that nightmare seriously while I was having it.
