Back in the late 2000s I had one of these. It's the Ideazon Merc Stealth. Wish there was something like it today that wasn't ruinously expensive. Anyone have any weird keyboards that they wish they still had today?

My very first keyboard was similar to this, used with Windows XP.
I obviously wouldn't want to use it now, but I feel that the ortholinear layout would be more ergonomic than the staggered keys.
I remember the keys being super mushy though.

I remember that a library had a keyboard that was in alphabetical order and I thought that it was cool. This is a really fucking strange question though so I can't think of anything else.

A quarter century ago I worked at a Blockbuster Video and the cashier computers had standard QWERTY keyboards, but I remember them having either an overlay or were manufactured to have every single random ass shortcut for the registers printed on them. It may have been a combination of both.

It was absolutely fucking hellacious. There was so much shit printed on every key that unless you already knew it was "E" you couldn't really tell. Letters, symbols, commands, they were all crammed onto these things. And some of the keys were different colors too to denote that they did other things on certain screens and menus.

I distinctly remember getting written up at work because some kid asked me if I could break a bill to give him quarters to get some gum and when I couldn't remember which series of keys to press to open the till the proper way I just punched Ctrl + Alt + Del which exited the point of sale and popped open the drawer (without logging the action, hence why I got in trouble for it).
