The apartment sections of SH4 are extremely atmospheric. For a 2004 game, it was eerily realistic during those parts and most modern games don’t come close.

"It's okay when Nintendo does it." Has become a meme for a reason. Because of nostalgia blindness hardcore gamers have a serious blind spot for literally everything Nintendo does.

This extends beyond wokeness as well. I still have a distaste for amiibos. Remember when we all used to think small-scale DLC crap that was on the disc already was bullshit? Well when Nintendo decided to tie shit like outfits for Link to you having to buy an extremely limited selection of overpriced plastic crap to access all the content already on the game you paid a premium for, people just went along with it.

Remember, it is always morally correct to pirate Nintendo games.

I wouldn't be surprised if the new camera exists so that you need to make an entire 3D scan of the amiibos rather than scan the QR code, just so Nintendo gets more sheckels.

It's more abused spouse than boiled frog. Nintendo was never not awful in its behaviour, people just delude themselves to think it's acceptable. No other company would expect you to buy the same game twice to get all the content.

Before they got into toys their hotel chain used to be a front for a gambling and prostitution ring set up by the Yakuza. So yeah they've never exactly been good noodles.
