I can’t get them to play either. Just blank. On mobile, with various browsers.
This includes archived videos, vids pulled from IG and TikTok. I can see some inlined YouTube videos. I have not tried on my laptop but I almost exclusively am a mobile user.
It’s an odd one. If you can’t replicate and have questions for troubleshooting, let me know.

Videos are slow for me, but they do play. If they don't work for you, try right-clicking and downloading the video and then playing it in a desktop media player program like VLC. It's what I have to do when one of you assholes posts a WebM since Safari doesn't support them.

I'm trying to run down a bizarre error condition which occurs when I post on The Farms using FF in Linux. What happens initially is the shift key reverses function. It doesn't always happen but when it does, things get progressively worse including function keys like F5 bringing up the Inspect Element dialog box. Editing becomes impossible and the only solution is either a system restart or shutdown. Swapping keyboards doesn't help.
I can post on Twitter and other forums and use text editors all day without problems, but if I come here and post, the problem crops up eventually. I'm in the process of trying Brave and Chromium to see if the problem shows up. I was curious to see if anyone else here has seen anything like this. If this is the wrong place to ask this question, apologies in advance.
[Edit 10/06/2020] - Brave hasn't exhibited the bug so far. Moving on to trying Chromium for a day.
[Edit 10/07/2020] - Chromium also works fine. I would have had to reboot several times in 24 hours if I was using FF. I'm lazy so I'll use Brave for KF instead of trying to figure out why FF does this.

Stickers won't work right now? The site is loading fine overall, but throwing back a "cannot perform action" error when I try to react to posts.

I'm on mobile (Brave IOS) and there's a cosmetic issue with the alerts. The notifications for the alerts never seem to get cleared after I check them and the number continues to count up. Note that this is only cosmetic, the title tag displays the notifications correctly and so does the actual "Alerts" element when I open the sidebar.

Using Brave for desktop(also checked on firefox, same thing). I noticed on the front page where it shows each forum's last topic/post, you can no longer click on the time/date to take you to the most recent post on that forum. Kind of pointless, but figured someone might be interested, not sure if it's a removed feature or a bug.

Looks like you have to click on them to dismiss them. At least for new-posts notifications.

When I click on a thread title, I always right-click to open the thread in a new tab, if it matters. Today, doing so brings me to the last post of the thread rather than where I left off. "First Unread" doesn't work either. Kinda sucks to have to backtrack to find the first new post since last visit.

The URL's are actually just pointing to the last post. If you copy the url, paste it, but don't go to it, and remove the last bit and replace it with unread, it still correctly goes to the first unread post.
Edit - It actually is only messed up on the home page for me. If I go into the subforum, the URL's are correct.

I've had it work fine. Was using national.shitposting.agency
Have you checked spam folders? There was some incident where the site spammed notifications voluminously at a bunch of shit and might have gotten blocked then.

The option is there for a ban reason. I guess whomever it was elected not to write anything. That's why I suggested TTS because you're asking for something that's already there. Then again it's only one day..
edit: Were you flooding? That's most likely why.
