It looks like ratings on old posts must have accidentally started working for a little while yesterday.

Can we get an option in account/preferences to display the images as they used to be? It's annoying to have to click on every screenshot containing text to be able to read it.

I've come across an issue while mobilefagging.

So basically I see that I have five notifications. However, when I open the side menu, I don't see any on the bell. Here is a screenshot of that

anyone know what the issue is? Doesn't affect desktop

I can't use brave to get on the site anymore. It gets stuck in some DDOS protection that never forwards to the Farms.

I was going to report that I was having the same issue just now (whenever I tried to embed the video it'd just come up as an error box in the reply window and preview) but when I posted it anyway it seemed to fix itself after a minute or so? Strange.

I had this problem myself a few days ago. Actually, I deleted my post because I figured it out and thought, "Oh, that was kinda obvious."

You missed clearing one notification back somewhere. Just go to Alerts > Show all > Mark read to zero it back out.

I'm having trouble downloading images and videos. I usually use my phone when I go on here.
I use the firefox app if that narrows anything down.
 
I already complained about this I think but I have to repeat it, images have been slow as fuck lately which I guess is to be expected but they seem to only start to load when my screen is displaying them. Like if I load a page the images at the bottom won't start to load until I get there. And then I have to wait like 15 seconds per image. Which doesn't sound like much but adding 5 minutes per page makes reading 10 pages take an hour.

Also: The tinf.io links work like dogshit. Practically none of them work, always saying 404 not found. Wouldn't have been a big deal if the old links hadn't been retroactively changed but now (for me at least) all of the links to twitter and instagram have been effectively removed from the forums. Which for some threads is a death sentence. All because archivefag has some autistic vendetta against brave.

Furthermore: Middle-clicking images to open them in a new tab doesn't work correctly. Sometimes it opens them in the same tab, sometimes it doesn't do anything, it's very wonky.

I'm having a similar problem, with images only loading sometimes and videos not at all. I'm using Google Chrome and my computer is running Windows 10.

And you hard-refreshed (ctrl+shft+F5) and cleared your cache, and restarted your device? And it didn't help at all?

A lot of avatars, images and videos aren't working for me either, and often get that "whoops we ran into some problems" message when trying to post. This is also Firefox Windows 10 and with a cleared cache
 
Every time I try to visit the farms I'm prompted with the hCaptcha which doesn't even work properly half the time. Is there any way to resolve this?

I've got a similar mobilefag issue. When on phone, the bell just infinitely stacks notifications as unread until I manually choose to set all notifs as read. This is only present on mobile. Desktop automatically sets them as read, yet they'll be unread once switched over. Not really sure why this would happen at all.
 
Is there... Something wrong with rating? In some threads, I just can't rate anything at all. I don't know the pattern, but I think if they're posts from 2019 or possibly earlier, than I just can't rate them. Just does that loading animation forever.

Using latest Brave on Win10 etc

Maybe I'm being retarded but for some reason I can't post images from links anymore, they show up when I insert them but then don't load when I actually post. Downloading them to my computer and then directly inserting them seems to work though. I'm using Brave on Windows 10.
