Sorry, I should've specified that. Anyway, the numbers for the bell. Refreshing the page manually isn't a big thing, but it did do that on auto.

That's literally just "notifications", and the issue is that it doesn't check for new notifications in the background, only when you click on it or load the site.
 
All my formatting buttons are grayed out. Were they just disabled for me or are they broken?

Edit: Nevermind, just not working in the textbox.
 
not really a grievance but not sure if there's a better place to ask rather than making a new thread - I realized after a while that a thread is green because it has unread posts and clicking on the thread title will take you to first unread post - is there a post or faq that lists out details/how-to's like this?

Not sure what you’re confused about. That’s been standard forum behavior since web forums became a thing in the early ‘00s.
 
I’ve not been able to use stickers for a few months now. Not really sure why. Anything I can try to do to fix it?

You probably got banned from using them. Were you doing something stupid like downvoting every single post by a certain user in every thread they posted in or something like that? Someone did that to me once and they got banned from using them when I whined to the jannies about it (I don't care about the downvotes but the hundreds of notifications about downvotes I was getting made it hard to find "legit" notifications in my queue).

That’s weird - I didn’t do that, and I don’t think I used them that often either. If I did get a sticker ban, I hope they listed why because I’m pretty curious lol

Just turn off notifications for it.

You can try asking in Talk to Staff.
If you didn't have your sticker privileges revoked for bad behavior, maybe it's because of a new account / anti-bot restriction or something.

I think a lurking janny may have seen this and gave me back sticker perms before I could ask in talk to staff. Whoever you are, thank you!
