Feedback Technical Grievances

Yep, back home and can read only via Spectrum wifi, but if I disconnect and use my Verizon data I can post.

An oddly specific error, that I can read a Forbidden Website but can't contribute to it. Though it's probably some technical glitch rather than specific malicious intent. But with Tranny Commisars these days, you never know.

Same boat as you my guy. Below error message is persisting whenever I try to use Spectrum and interact with buttons on the website.

Weirdly enough, react stickers work fine on Spectrum.

Still getting "Parsing response failed" when trying to attach/upload an image, Doesn't give me a number specific error either, What's weird about this is how it worked briefly on and off for me within the week.

I've had this issue myself for at least a week. I'm able to upload fine on Tor but get "Parsing response failed" on the clearnet. Has changing your IP address completely resolved the problem?

I'm able to post images and post better on a Dutch VPN but American VPNs are still hard to post images on, Testing it out again on an American VPN the issue seems to have improved a bit but still loads a lot.

Whatever you fixed, it's working in bongland as well. Went from constantly timing out to running faster than linford christie at a drug test.

... aaand it's gone again. Reading works, posting is suddenly a crapshoot.

Well, if this sends I can post now, but the layout of the site is now completely fucked. It's doing that funny "HTML nightmare" meme.

Still can't edit, apologies for double posting.
Chrome's layout is fine, but editing and posting don't work. Firefox is where I'm getting the layout issue, but it seems like I can post here?
Everything is fucked lmao

I can finally post on clearnet with Firefox without proxy again.

(if the page loads that is - DDoS yet again)

So I never closed my private brave instance and upon refreshing a languishing tab KF popped right up and let me view the thread. That said, some issues with posting and uploading as below.

(note that all screenshots were uploaded and posted via the TOR browser.)

I got this when trying to post in this thread while I'm intentionally using the instance I identified as being borked. Here's the error:
1673217227500.png
Okay the attachment upload ALSO failed but again from the known-potentially borked private browser instance.

That said, trying from a clean Chrome private instance also errored out apparently, looks a lot like the error from the known problem instance of brave:

Trying from a non-private browser instance:
...Which also failed with the same connection reset error.

I don't think I can blame this one on a funky browser instance. Uploading, posting, and some draft calls (which seem to be related to failed image upload attempts) are connection resetting.

North American user reporting in with zero technical issues, so no idea what's going on there. Have yet to experience any of the posting issues others have reported.

  • 🚨 North American users cannot post. I was not able to figure out why. There is a novel bug with the webserver software that I am trying to determine. Proxying to Europe or using Tor will work.

Same. Unless Null's announcement refers to literally posting new topics (rather than posting replies), posting from North America works fine for me.

A couple of thoughts. If it used to work and now it doesn't, what changed? Did something get updated? If so, can you roll back to a known-good state via backup? Also, if all 3 servers are "identical", can you replace the "bad" server with a snapshot of one of the good ones?

eta: Successfully posted clearnet N.A.
