Feedback Technical Grievances

It's ugly XML code, but the RSS feed allows anyone to read the text of the messages:

Reminder, you can use https://tg.i-c-a.su/rss/kiwifarms to view any updates to the Kiwifarms Telegram without being logged in. It might be little confusing, but you just really need to focus on things that are listed under <description>. See image for an example.

Throw this URL in an RSS reader app and it makes things a lot easier. I use Thud from the F-Droid store on Android, but literally anything should work.

Does Brave help with the images not loading issue? Tor project seems to be failing at loading thumbnails and avatars a bit.

On tor browser for android, profile pics aren't rendering. Videos are not loading, instead the message "No video with supported format and MIME type found".

Welcome back null, TTD.
Can you post a link to a video where this is happening? I want to try something.

Profile pics are rendering for me, albeit slowly.

Except I've checked and the cookies are on. I've tried allowing 3rd-party cookies, disabling automatic HTTPS and turning off adblock already.
Update: Not sure why, but giving the site an HTTPS certificate seems to have fixed the issue.

For what it's worth, manually transplanting the cookies from an old clearnet login to a HS login with Cookie Quick Manager worked for me. It's how I'm posting.

That was broken. I'll re-add it to the desc.

I've deployed a certificate and set us to https:// over Tor so now there will be no issue for casual users.

I had to mess with a lot of Brave settings (fresh install), but it works over HTTPS. Disable every Brave security thing you can find, allow all cookies everywhere, etc.

Edit: Also needed to load unsafe scripts (icon in Brave URL bar) a couple of times to get hcaptcha haproxy to work. But not anymore so whatever I changed eliminated that.

I'm having a minor problem with the site when using the TOR browser on android: It doesn't let me switch betweem reaction emojis because the interface disappears as soon aa I let go of the like button. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? (I already tried disablimg NoScript, to no avail)

Thank you for all your hard work keeping the site up

Do you have an estimate of how much Liz Fong-Jones has spent trying to keep the site down? At this point I suspect he's ben running custom code on a server network that he either rents or belongs to his employer, and I wonder if the server owners would appreciate a tip that their network is being used for illegal operations.
